I'm still pretty cool. I'm just older. I joined this forum when I was 18. I turn 25 next month. I'm dealing with too many things in life these days to contend with the DJ forums. Stop by every now and then, was planning on writing a really comprehensive essay on the things I've learned over the last several years.

I've only heard of one of those bands in that top 50 list. I don't think I've listened to 50 albums this year. Where do you find that time? Impressive list, you must be in the business?

My life revolves around music, just not professionally. I write articles and reviews for some zines, keep an mp3 blog, and make a little (****ty) music of my own on the side. I eat, sleep, and breathe music. I kept count, and I've listened to over 1200 albums this year alone. It's easy enough to do when 90% of it only gets one spin because I end up disliking most of what I hear. But coming across that 10% is what keeps me going...at the gym, in the car, falling asleep, etc.
