being ****y and not funny works..sometimes

just wanted to share an experience i had.

i had nothing to do one day so i decided to try being the most obnoxious arrogant ******* while hitting on a girl. 2 days after, i was waiting for the bus and this decent looking chick sat next to me at the bus stop, opened her texbook and started reading. heres the basic convo that went on:

me: what you reading there?
her: oh, i'm studing for my physics class, its killing me
me: what you say you take a break and we go get some lunch.
her:ummmmm, i really dont have time right now
me: do you really dont have time or do you just get easily intimidated by hot guys?
her: excuse me?
me: can't blame ya there
her: i'm really late for something
me: alright, your loss

about 5 minutes pass in silence:

her: you know what, since i cant go right now,how about some other time?
me: why the change of mind?
her: ummmm
me: and what makes you think offer is still on a table?
her: i just thought since you...
me: ok fine we'll get together, gimme your number.

so i got her number...dont plan on calling though.
i tried my best to keep a straight face while saying all that ****,i didnt even flash a smirk, but man was it hard.

dont really know why i posted this, but i guess sometimes being overly-confiident can work too.

it was very hard not to laugh, there was another guy sitting near and he heard most of our conversation. he pretended to look for something he dropped behind the bench and was cracking up like crazy.
