Especially if her husband was not great in that domain and now she gets to experience other guys that are much better.100%, and her married friends love hearing about the details
Depends on how you present it.If you're 35+ and divorced. That's reasonable. 36+ and never married: Weird.
I have plenty of friends that waited to their 30s to married or are still unmarried with histories of LTRs. The unmarried ones will tell you that they haven’t found the right one right, but they clearly have an underlying issue that pushes women away. For women, they seem to be closet lesbians or alpha widowed by a guy they simply couldn’t replace.Depends on how you present it.

If this is true then why are alpha widows so abundantThe article is basically a personification of the meme below, since women often recover faster and move on quicker after a break up due to various factors that have been discussed ad nauseam. This tends to happen regardless of whether it’s a marriage, LTR, casual relationship, etc.
Because moving on quickly and still being affected by someone aren’t the same thing. A person can make a fast transition into a new relationship while still carrying residual feelings, comparisons, or expectations from the previous one. The speed of moving on doesn’t necessarily determine the extent or duration of those effects. If this is true then why are alpha widows so abundant
this is completely dependent on options. no one cries if they have a replacement. and... that actually is the deeper issue. not able to be happy alone. The article is basically a personification of the meme below, since women often recover faster and move on quicker after a break up due to various factors that have been discussed ad nauseam. That said, everyone has a different experience, and what happens to one person won’t necessarily happen to another.

This is just women trying to convince themselves their life is better. In 3months this "trend" will get replaced by dating sucks/men suck, "Its Girls Night Out" trend. As more men fall for the fantasy of marriage, women are cashing out, publicly shaming their exes, and even throwing parties.
Can anyone name me one viable reason a man should get married in 2026?

Many women will call a failed relationship "trauma." It is a favorite buzz word for females who want to play the victim card and make the world believe they were some innocent angel who was taken advantage of. Usually, even if the man did nothing of the sort, they also resort to labeling things he did as "emotionally abusive" and "controlling" when, in fact, he just didn't see eye to eye with her and reasonably pushed back. It is an easy way to take zero ownership of her faults for why it ended up where it ended up.This is a quote from the article:
"For Bancroft, owning her divorce has been a way to find healing and empowerment following the trauma of the relationship."
I don't know the details of her story, but it's interesting that she chooses to describe the relationship as the trauma. Too often women will take this stance just to justify their decision. She didn't have a husband, she had a source of trauma.
You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.
I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.
Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.
These rules trigger a woman's subconscious attraction switches. And you can start using them tonight.

Being divorced make more men try to get into your pants because they know you'll be easier than when you were a maiden.
No, just picky. If you're 35+ and divorced. That's reasonable. 36+ and never married: Weird.
men passed the laws that enable this. directly or indirectly. men in there thirst to snuggle up to the woman complaining, over time allowed her to do this. another example where men simply stepping on other men by supporting her against him, and then the problem ballooned. Many women will call a failed relationship "trauma." Being divorced used to be pathetic.Because when you're in your 50s and 60s, it's pathetic to "open sets" and "trying out a new opener".

I think that if you are using outdated (by age) materials then you are set up for failure. Something, cool/funny, coming out of a 20 something mouth might sound creepy in your 50’s & 60’s. I feel it’s not about the “sets” it’s more the approach in the situation. Everything has to evolve with age of everyone involved.Because when you're in your 50s and 60s, it's pathetic to "open sets" and "trying out a new opener".
