A shot could contain any alcohol there is. You take a shot that's like 70% proof, or you drink a beer that's like 15% proof. The shot will get you drunk much quicker.

People usually drink a beer over some length of time. The longer you take to drink it, the more separated the alcohol will be in your system. You'll get less drunk this way, so you would get another beer, trying to get a better buzz, and in the process, you'd take in more calories. The shot hits you all at once, with a lot more alcohol. Take a few shots within a minute or two, and you'll be hell of a lot more drunk than a bunch of beers, and you'd take in a lot less calories as well.

Unless you're drinking 151 or some ****, the alcohol is roughly the same. Try drinking a sixer of Blue Moon. That beer will fvck you up.

As for the shots hitting you all at once...Go funnel a few beers in a minute or two and see what happens.

I don't think it's that big of a deal. I have numerous friends who have been through the exact same thing. You get a court date, you go to court and you do a work day or something. I wouldn't quit drinking because of some sh1t like that, though.

Blue Moon isn't bad for a grocery store beer, but if you can get your hands on it try Avery White Rascal.

They had Rascal on tap at the bar I went to last night, and I can say that it was very good. More of a citrus undertone and a lot more fruity than Blue Moon. Perhaps a bit too fruity for my tastes.

Even though it's local, I don't think I've seen much Avery beer in the liquor stores around here. New Belgium, Boulder Beer, and Breckenridge Brewery seem to get most of the business here in the CO.

I don't know if you've had Breckenridge Breweries' "Hefe Proper" hefeweizen, but you might enjoy it.

I think it depends a lot on where you live. If you live in a small town they'll probably give you community service and put you on probation. If it's your second offense they might make you go to jail for a day or two.

If you're in a big city or a college town, you might just have to pay a fine.

I hate cheap beers, but being on a tight budget recently I tried finding one I liked and have decided to live the High Life

Eh, at least it's better than Natty Lite I guess.....I prefer Keystone for my <$15 30's haha
