Balancing Weight?!

In the past I've been way down the fat road and way down the skinny one too.

My arms are skinny so I feel that I should put on more weight.

But I'm developing a beer belly and a bit if u kno what i mean!! Is there any way to steadily gain weight while keeping everything in proportion? I just want thicker arms. Other than that, I look good and dont want to get any fatter.

Lift. Heavy. Find the search button for this forum. Use it.

Your arms won't get thicker unless the rest of you does. Squat, deadlift, bench. In that order of importance. Your arms will keep up.

Just like throttle said, focus on the big boys. SQUAT, deadlift, benchpress, you can even throw in some bent over rows for your biceps and back, and military press for your shoulders. As soon as you start a good routine and stick with it, than you shouldn't gain much fat. Your body will kick into anabolic mode and start building muscle to cope with the extra stress. Don't be one of those wannabe guys in the gym doing preacher curls all day to get big arms. Do some research on this site and everywhere else. Google is a very powerful tool.

been there, done that, the t-shirt doesn't fit anymore after serious squats & deadlifts... :rockon:

Looks alright to me

I do a lot of pushups & situps, maybe need to get into squats...
That's a great site! I used it as a reference for exercises until I learned them all, or most of them.
Definately get into squats! If your goal is to gain size and strength the squat is what you want!
