I can't emphasize how important this is.
If you do have it and don't know, could be a reason a girl didn't take your calls.

Coffee is terrible, I agree.
Here are some tips:
- Brush teeth AND TONGUE.
- Eat yogurt before bed, allowing it to linger in and around mouth. (Google it if you don't believe me.)
- To test yourself, pinch your cheeks and pull them away from your teeth and suck in some air. If your breath is off you'll be able to smell it this way.

I always go the set the example route, like that she will feel kinda obligated to clean up and I don't have to call her out on anything...

To cure bad breath you want to eat lots of green foods, citrus foods and (plain) yogurt (with no aspartame). Spirulina tablets are probably the best cure. Also, brush your tongue and gums.
Chewing fennel seeds is a natural breath freshener.
