"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I don't know if any of you have read "The Fountainhead", but lately I've been seeing some Howard Roark pimps out there. These guys are blunt, straight-forward, and painfully honest, but it seems to work because they have no fear of rejection (since objectivism is all about not giving a **** about anything). In a strange way, these Howard Roarks are the ultimate form of Don Juanism, except they are so stoic that it's hard to tell whether they really know what they're doing or not.

Has anyone encountered this? I've tried not caring at all, and it's been great with the ladies.

For more on "The Fountainhead"/Howard Roark, consult this.

"My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute."

The quote above sort of sums up the kind of mindset I'm referring to

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

There's a better DJ in Rand's work "Atlas Shrugged." It's the guy with the foreign name.

Dude, ever since I stopped giving a ****, I've noticed atleast a threefold success. Don't give a **** what other people think about you because it's your world, not theres.

this is actually a very fascinating thread

i'll take a look at the link in a bit (im on a slow hospital computer) but i do remember seeing a bruce willis film in which he and this kinda nerdy guy break from jail. he's like the craziest confident resiliant smooth guy ever and i was really fascinated by it. i think we should post movies and books in which the characters show good examples of dj additude so some of the struggling afcs on this board can get a real feel for how these guys think and act while we point out the stuff that really makes them different.

EDIT: btw the movie is called 'bandit' and heres a link about it

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
