As much as I believe it was a form of rejection, it doesnt take much work for you to send her a text or give her a quick call.
If she refuse again with no counteroffer, you got your second strike and you can move on with no further tought about her.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Why was she busy? If it was a legit excuse, maybe. If not, likely just a way to keep you as a backup in case the guy she is seeing now doesn't work out/committ.

Once she said that, I would of moved on and deleted her number. A few weeks? thats way too long for a girl who wants to see you. At most a girl who is legit busy would postpone a week IMO.sbgm said:

Dude, that's a 101% rejection. I'd keep it friendly and not bother. If she brings it up, pounce on it, otherwise you'll just become her orbiter waiting for her to decide when to go out. Giving up your power and options before the first date is a horrendous move.
