"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Anyone have any good icebreakers or methods to approach girls during class--i.e., if you're sitting next to them but don't know them.

Thanks :D

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Yeah, I'm not really shy or anything; I don't have problems talking to girls. But I'm looking for a way to start a flirting conversation right off the bat, rather than a regular, fakey, friends-only conversation.

I had it down pat last year, but I spent most of my summer smoking pot with a bunch of my guy friends, and only hooking up with party chicks that took no work whatsoever. I get back to school this year and I seem to have lost my intuition about what to say.

yeah he's right negs and ****y funny are the best ways to start it off in class cause you don't want her thinking your intrested in her espeically during class ya know

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I talked to her a bit today, just introduced my self with a 101.
1- Did you do something to your hair?
Her- Yeah I did, it's straightened today.
0- Oh. I like it better natural.
1- But it still looks nice.

What I think I'm really asking are what are good conversations to have that are flirtatious in nature.

"i'd like to thank you for stealing the desk i wanted."

haha i like that one would be good to do while the teacher is talking and you pull out a piece of paper and write it down and pass it to her when your done

hahah i just thought of this one:

the girl's already seated somewhere, and there's no one next to her. you go by, smile like she had just done you a great favor, and say "omg thank you so much for saving me a seat! i knew I could count on you!" She's probably gonna either smile or be like "huh?" in which case you ignore her response and just talk to her like she's an old friend. and TADA icebreaker :)

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

it's a negative compliment. basically, you compliment her on something, but something that she's kindof ashamed of. so you make fun of her weaker parts :p hence why you mustn't do it too often, or else she'll just be bummed out.

thanks, had to beg to get that answer, I mess up my C+F all the time and kinda go into just dissing her, which rarely become useful negs, but yah Im working on my C+F :p

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
