Anyone from Phoenix?

Hey guys,

I'm heading to Phoenix for a few days with my gf.

Just wondering if anyone is from there or has been there recently.

I would like some advice about the area. Things to check out, any "must see" stuff, cool places to go, restaurants, etc.

Any input would be appreciated.

I'm in Phoenix. Check around N. Scottsdale (Kierland), Old town Scottsdale, Scottsdale Fashion Square, Mill Ave in Tempe and Desert Ridge Mall in NE Phoenix.

heh.. I was born in Scottsdale, but I live in Cali! Phoenix is way too hot to live there in the summer.

It's January and the high today is 68F.

Old Town Scottsdale, Mill Ave., and hike Camelback Mountain is what I suggest. Also see the gardens and Papago Park. If you have the opportunity check out the canyon, it's a 3 hour drive.

Just stay away from Mesa... Arizona's Compton.
