"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Alright, heres the setup:

I went out with this girl about 4 months ago maybe 6 or 7 times over a couple months. In my opinion at the time it was just dating, but she wanted something more serious and I didnt really. I didnt handle it as I should have...... I didnt really handle it at all. I just stopped calling her or returning her calls. After about a week of calling she stopped.

Heres the situation now:

My priorities are a little different. I just got elected to the Students Union at my University and a solid GF would fit with my life a little bit better than casual dating as I wanted before. This girl would make a fantastic GF, but I really didnt keep a friendship with her. Just kinda blew her off. Is there a way to call her and reestablish something? If so, what is the best approach to take in order to get back on the good side?

Thanks for the input!

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I just stopped talking to her one day. I think I went out of town for the weekend and I just never called her or answered her calls when I returned. I didnt say anything mean to her, I just kind of "disappeared"..... I really dont even know why I did, I just wasnt really in a GF state of mind and thought it would be easier than dealing with it.

ok, then call her. simple as that. I'v done that 2 a couple chicks. one i havent had contact with for a couple months minus 1 e-mail that said i was super busy. If i feel like it might giver her a call and maby go have some fun if i dont get another girl to fill the space when i feel like it.

What would you suggest saying if I call her? Should I give some sort of explanation, of just act completely normal and see if she brings it up?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

No explinations, it'd be more natural, just to "bump" into her and start things up again. But don't be suprised if things don't go swimmingly.
