Well my "benefits" may be different from other people just because I had a long history with porn starting at an early age.
But highlights below:
More energy: something I'd had problems with for years, constant fatigue. On my work days I would haul my ass out of bed at the last minute feeling like utter ****, on days off I'd get up at 12. After 30 days on nofap I was wide awake at 7am even on days off
Drastically reduced social anxiety: again a problem for years, started around 15-16, went away gradually
More confident: probably due to the above
More discipline: quit other addictions like smoking and caffeine, got my finances in order, managed to make the gym stick
Better with women: I had learned game before nofap but still had a lot of problems and felt I was "faking" my frame, after a month of nofap I just became way more of a natural, game just felt natural and I was being authentic. I got out of friendzone with a girl without even trying etc.
So these are just a few of the benefits.
Nofap gets a lot of hate from people but the reason is because those guys don't WANT to give up masterbating or looking at porn. And if they want to stay sitting in a dark room blowing loads on themselves that's fine, whatever. I mean personally I think that's weak and disgusting but that's just me.
Theres real science backing up the effects of nofap on the brain, and I also think a lot of it has to do with testosterone and minerals too.
But of all the 1000s of reports online, you will not find a single person who has done a serious nofap streak and got no benefits and thought it was a waste of time.
I initially went for a 90 day Challenge but have been porn and masterbating free for a year now and it's been the most developmental and best year of my life (and the most sex I've ever had in q year by a distance)
