Just met up with a gal from POF, an HB7-8 but a single mom with a pretty b!tchy and demanding profile. We hit it off fine at first. She admitted to being bitter after some bad relationships. Things started going South when she called me a negative person for stating that everyone was shallow to a degree when it comes to looks and dating. She then accused me of being judgemental because in the first few minutes of the date I said "you look different from your pictures (she did) but not in a bad way". I didn't mean it with any malace and I told her that. She said I should have said she looked better than her pictures . When I responded with "So any guy that you date pretty much has to walk on egg shells?" she says "you know what, i'm going home". Without saying anything, I put my jacket on and pulled out cash for my drink. We left a minute or two later, still making small talk, but it was awkward. I almost threw my cash down and walked out without her.

Did I put my foot in my mouth, which I sometimes do, or was she just a b*tch?

The best part:

I'm meeting another plate in twenty minutes for drinks

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

IF this is the first time hanging out and she's already giving you drama, think about what she would do if you were dating her or in a LTR. You saved yourself a looot of bad things.

I am POSITIVE you made the right choice; you should do the same.

PS: I would have left that psycho!

Just finished drinks with the other girl and it couldn't have gone better. She texted me immediately after telling me I seemed like a really great guy. The single b*tch mom isn't even on my mind anymore and her number deleted. This is a quintessential example of why we have plates my friends!

I stopped reading your post at this point, because I knew everything I needed to know.

You can do better. Do not look back.
