"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

When you look at a woman, your internal dialog might be something like this: "Well, she's got a nice butt and her face is cute, but she's kinda short." Or whatever.

But what does the AFC say? "You're beautiful." It's not the complete thought. The complete thought is: "DESPITE YOUR FLAWS, you're beautiful."

I compliment women all the time, but I don't leave out any of my thoughts. I was out shopping for a dress with an HB9 a while ago and she asked me how she looked. I said, "It doesn't flatter your curves."

Another girl asked me what I thought of her, so I started rambling off AFC stuff. This girl was 6'0", so I threw in, "short" as one of the qualities at the end of the list. She was totally delighted because "no guy" had "ever said that to" her before.

How does her a** look?
"Moderately curvy."
"Decent."

The point is, fully express the internal monologue in your head. Don't just leave it at "beautiful." The formula is <compliment> BUT <exception>.

LEAVE DOUBT IN HER MIND. SHE WILL SEEK VALIDATION. THIS IS GOOD. THIS IS THE POINT OF NEGGING and C&F.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Oh, and a good response to ANYTHING a woman asks, says, does, or does not do is this:

"Interesting." <sly smile>

EDIT: Oh, and never elaborate on what exactly it is you find interesting. This will drive her NUTS thinking about you.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I have said that for years and I remember an ex used to ask me is it? and I would never answer and sway the conversation.

My gf has gotten so used to me saying something negative along with a positive, that if i ever say something only positive she says "where's the negative?"

I'm still not sure if this bugs her or not that i always do that. Too much of a good thing?

I'd also suggest complimenting women on things they aren't used to being complimented about.

For example, I knew this young model who had guys saying "You're hot!" like 40 billion times an hour. I noticed she seemed smarter than the average model (excellent memory and interesting personality) so I commented on it. She was absolutely stunned, and blushed like a kid. Then I asked if those things were real and killed the mood.

(As a note I only say it if its true. If a hot model can't even spell "model", I'm not gonna tell her she's smart. This is more of my personal moral thing though)
