"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

'ello,

Bah, so my quests with our fairer gender have been quite fruitful in the months following my AFC-DJ transition, but last night was another new experience.

I have her isolated in the dorm room with kino, other-essentials, blah-blah, but then out of nowhere comes her friend [afc] who jumps on her roommate's bed and is just laying his fat-carcass down and seems to not understand what me and her are about to do. In the end, me and the female friend move back to the dance room and never see each other again for the remainder of the night (what happened for the remainder of the night is a story in and of itself). But I digress.

My question is, should I have just stated openly for him to "get the fark out", evil-eyed him, or what? Bah, the bitter taste of failure.

Each day brings a new challenge,

Well, it is kinda hard to handle that situation, since no matter what you did, he ruined it for you anyway. I would have taken the girl and said, "Let's find another room."
That little fu-cker who did this to you knew exactly what was going on and he did this intentionally to you.

A girl who likes you will maneuver around the kockblock (SOSUAVE.COM IS STUPID FOR BLANKING OUT WORDS) or at least talk over him.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I'd say yes next time take charge. Say get the fvck out in a joking way so the blocker gets the message and the girl knows that you are just trying to be alone with her.

It would also be a good time to bring up that friends line, "We have to start locking that door..."!

Yes, at first she seemed to be pushing him to leave ("you should go back on the dance floor"), but he was drunk, fat, and immobile. Yes, we really should start locking that door. I recall a past dream where I was with a fellow camp counselor and a stream of kids poured in after I neglected to lock the door...

Oh well, the battle of life continues,
