Age Gap for Making Friends and or dating

Im 25 and lets say the HB i want to be friends and or date is 18..

What you guys think? Does this normally work out for you guys?

Just use the age old formula.

Take your age, divide it by two.

Then add seven to that figure.

That is the youngest age you can go.

25/2 = 12.5
12.5 + 7 = 19.5

So, you live your life by a formula?LOL

How dumb. As long as they are over 18, just do whatever feels right. Each person has a different level of maturity that can't be determined by some formula.

Don't blow it dude, i had my chance at 25 of an 18 year that liked me alot. She's a doctor now and i thought she was hot but too young for me. Go figure, was too dam mature for my own good. Now that i'm a bit older, realize how dumb that was. I'm shooting from the hip for girls in their early 20s now. It's just their so dam immature some of them ..lol.

When dealing with an 18 year-old for a FB/fling situation, emotional stability would be more on-point. In other words, to avoid a possible Rodin/Claudel situation where the poor girl gets destroyed by the situation.

I'm having an 80's party next Saturday. I'm almost 35 years old. One of my lady friends that is going to be there is 36. A couple of them are 31-33. There will likely be at least a dozen (probably closer to two dozen) girls that are in the 24-27ish range. At least 3 or 4 are barely 21. At least one isn't even old enough to drink.

Point is, why does everyone make such a big deal about age? It's only an issue if YOU make it an issue. I feel like a broken record.....
