"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

A simple reply to "let's just be friends"

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Or just "nah", then never speak to her again.

If you ever hear those words she is not fit for the purpose you intended. If you WANTED to be friends with her you'd never have heard those words in the first place.

As others have said in recent posts, she is basically saying, "it's never going to happen but I want you to orbit me for my own self esteem"

And this response forces her into two outcomes - she either gives in due to your confident persistence, or you don't become friends since there are no benefits.
Never repress sexual desire, even when you hear a line like that. It just sounds like you are making an excuse to collapse your entire frame on the spot and walk away.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Sure, are you ready to discuss the benefits?
when you get that line from a girl, it's a sinker.doesn't matter how you respond to her, your ship will capsize.

best response is : "I have enough friends as it is , thank you.Have a nice day"

or i: "sorry , i'm not looking for friends"

polite , efficient.

I once got a 2-page letter from a girl that ended with "So, what I'm saying is, is it ok for now if we're just friends?"

My reply?

"No."

Her reply?

"Well F*ck off then!" (and then she had sex with me and told me I was the greatest lover she ever had).

I've actually never been given that line in a rejection sense. To be honest I've never had the balls to make a move like that. If I'm in the friendzone I know it, and I'm either OK with it and keep being mates, or I just withdraw distance without hearing that sentence.

A time will come when I get hit with that line, and I think that your line suits my personality at the moment so I'd use it, then if nothing was forthcoming I'd gradually disappear.

Depends on their meaning of 'friends' really.

I got that line off my ex when I was trying to get back with her. Went round for the first time after we split not sure if anything would even happen but within a few minutes she was all over me. She's now my fb.
