Like I've said all over this forum, the ratio of men to women in the world is 1 to 1. Not all women can have 500 guys exclusively chasing her. That's mathematically impossible. As long as monogamy exists in the world, there's literally someone for everyone.

Most women who have lots of followers don't care about her followers. She gets validation, that's it. She's not dating any of them anyway because she knows guys worth having aren't simping anyone.

I straight up simped like three weeks ago. My friend went to school with a girl & in a group chat with her, and we ran into her at a concert. As a guy who just had a kid, this is completely wrong. Do you have any fvcking children, OP? Unless you need your kids working your subsistence farm, children are a net negative for economics and productivity. They're expensive and drain away all of your time and energy. Birth rates are down because having a child in a modern economy is basically volunteering to cut off your hands.

It is true that children are a big cost. It's only after I have succeeded in accumulating & building generational wealth do I feel like I could afford children (this cost includes the contingency that my mating partner could demand separate housing, which is something the father would need to provide since his child would be there).

i believe that the amount of attention women receive online is probably not the only issue. social media and dating apps may alter how people meet and what they anticipate, but factors like housing costs, postponed marriage, employment, and shifting family values most likely have a far greater impact on birth rates.

If a guy wants to be a pathetic simp that is his choice and no one else’s business. Plenty of people who complain about it are just competing for the same woman and assume that clearing out the other simps would magically put them next in line. If a woman finds you unattractive it does not matter whether she has zero simps or two hundred. The gender ratio is roughly one to one, monogamy still exists, and not every woman can have hundreds of exclusive suitors. Most women with large followings are not dating those guys. They are collecting validation and shekels.

That said, simping has become so widespread that it no longer stays in its own lane. It reshapes the entire dating market and raises the baseline expectations for everyone, including men who never send a dollar or a free meal.

The constant stream of free attention, gifts, and cash from simps has inflated many women’s sense of what they can demand and what they are worth on the market.

Most women still claim to loathe simps, yet plenty still use them. Social media followers and OnlyFans creators are the clearest examples. I saw a viral post from an OnlyFans woman complaining about men being creepy. So yes, individual simping is someone else’s problem. When it reaches this scale it stops being private and starts warping the expectations every man has to navigate. That is why simps are bad.
