"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Hello. I have been with several women in my life. (not as many as you)

With some of them, this thing happened to me: as soon as I wasn't in her presence, it was as if I missed her a lot.

I really missed the person.
And as soon as we saw each other again, I felt immense joy for this person.
A bit like your dog seeing you come home.
I instinctively smiled when I looked at her face.
And this thing never went away.

It has only happened to me with 2 women out of the 12 I have met and been with, both short and long relationships.

What does this mean, since it didn't happen with the other 10?
Has this ever happened to you?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

It means to a large degree she was an external source of validation to you.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Fvck is wrong with you people.

People meet each other and they like each other.

They think about each other when they are apart and then get happy when they see each other again.

Did you just arrive on planet Earth recently and not know how normal humans operate?

wtf

Yeah, then I realized: "You believe you MUST have her, the way a dope fiend believes he can't survive day to day life without a suitcase filled with syringes and black tar smack underneath the bed"

Subsequently, I began remedying this particular flaw in my psyche, with varying degrees of success

Sounds like Tesla found some good poon

but You also mentioned that you've only had a few. Tis probably not the case for the gal you’ve mentioned because chances are sky high she has the same effect on other dudes

and she already sized you up instantly, better than you could ever imagine. Women are designed to size guys up in crazy detail

but congrats my friend, have fun, don’t be too needy. you are the Man.

With more women than I can count …. 12? Make it 36 and report back

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

The first really hot girl(former bikini model) I ever dated caused me to feel similar as well as anxious. After our first date, I couldn't even sleep. Even though our connection was there, our romantic relationship was never great, it was on and off for 3yrs. Her and I remained in contact somewhat for over 15yrs until she died.

As I've grown older and more experienced, women don't yield as much power over how I feel. I am in charge of my thoughts/feelings, not someone else. A lot of these reactions are driven by chemicals in your body that can cloud your logical/rational brain. Its like a buzz from drugs/alcohol or even sex. It doesn't mean she is good for you or you have some amazing relationship even though you experience a good feeling. Its just a bunch of chemical reactions.

Take a more honest, rational assessment if you want something that will last.

This means the 2 were under 30, never married, no kids, and hot.
