“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

I like travel as well, so in general I don't think there's much to be said, however some women clearly take it to another level. I think the main reason why many modern women are so obsessed with travel is for the following two reasons:

1) it gives them clout/status (and for some reason they think it makes them more attractive to men too even though it doesn't)
2) it allows them to be a total slut and fvck all the locals without anyone knowing about it

yeah, I agree a sub set of women think that traveling is attractive to men. Its as attractive to men as girl bosses are to men...

oh well, do whatever one feels like. I'm just a background character to their lives. hahahaha...Eat, pray, love... just remember that main character got divorced and I don't think she's really living her life in "fairy tale" mode. Reality is a cruel mistress.

In regards to a desire to travel I think there is likely big difference in mindset between those who are self employed, run their own business, and actually enjoy their work vs those who work for an employer.

It could be this^ depending on the woman but... it could also be because it demonstrates an adventurous spirit, a desire to meet and experience different types of people and cultures which makes her appear open-minded and free-spirited.

Which may translate to a man as "hot in bed." Lol. I've actually had men tell me this!

I traveled a lot with my family growing up and after college I spent a year traveling through Europe with a backpack. Spent a couple of months on the island of Crete... I could write a book about that! We stomped grapes, slept on the beach, rode donkeys to get around... it was quite the adventure!

I agree with @Slowhandluke in many respects it was an 'itch.' For me. I wasn't interested in 'settling down' and wanted to 'see the world.' Lol

I didn't sex myself up as has been suggested but I did fall hard for a British man I met in Greece and was quite devastated when he had to leave. He promised to come visit me in the states and even wrote me a few times but it eventually faded out.

Fast forward to present. The only traveling I have a desire to do is visit my home town around 25 miles north of NYC which I will be doing this summer with my bff since third grade when I visit her in Jersey end of May through the summer.

I find traveling especially on planes exhausting! I do love riding the train though, here in SoCal some can be quite comfy and relaxing while gazing outside admiring the ocean and scenery.

That's about it!

There are two acceptable reasons for a man to want to travel. #1 make money. #2 get laid. Anything else is gay. Travel is like dancing, singing, acting...all gay sh1t that ironically can get a guy laid, but let's not pretend that isn't the point.
This is effectively the Dunning-Kruger effect applied to life.

Most people before the 1800s never traveled more than 20 miles from where they were born. Not sure what the appeal of living like you have a horse and buggy instead of modern transportation options is.

But I guess to a lot of Americans, being cultured is eating Greek Yogurt or drinking a Corona.

Dunning-Kruger would mean I don't know anything about travel.

You know how everyone hates immigrants? It's basic human psychology. Tourists are just temporary immigrants with money. The people who live in the place you are visiting largely hate you. They'll smile big and act friendly to get your money, but it's all just an act. That's why cruise ships and these walled compound resort prisons they call "all-inclusive" are everywhere. They need to keep you away from the locals to keep the fantasy going that you are welcome.

Not sure where you have traveled but maybe most Americans would have better experiences if they actually respected the cultures they went to and learned their customs and ways of doing things beforehand rather than expecting them to cowtow to their ways of doing things and being loud and obnoxious and expecting everyone to speak English and showing no respect to them at all by even attempting to speak basic phrases.

People don't hate tourists. Thet hate people who treat them disrespectfully in their own country and don't actually want to learn anything about their culture or way of life and expect them to bend over backwards for them while being rude, condescending and dismissive.

No different than how there is always that one loud mouthed person in a social group that everyone can't stand because they treat people like crap and don't care about anyone but themselves. That's what too many tourists are like and that's what they hate.

I think they'd find that when you show respect you get it back 10 fold in most places. Or at least that's been my experiences from everywhere I've visited.

And no, many cruise ships and all-inclusive resorts are that way because some of the places aren't exactly the safest areas to be randomly walking around off the beaten path. It's mostly a safety thing for the cruise ship/resort. Plus they likely get some sort of kick back from the local businesses.

Going to some poor, 3rd world tropical country with a resort designed specifically to bring in money from tourists since their country depends on it, I'm not sure what else you are expecting. I mean the rest of the country is in shambles, you aren't going there to live an authentic third world experience. That would likely involve having roving gangs on mopeds running around robbing or killing you many times.

Does anyone go visit Chicago to go to the Southside ghettos? Or Los Angeles to go visit Compton? No. Does that mean they aren't worth visiting because you aren't getting the "authentic full experience"? No. Most people don't even have the authentic full experience where they grew up or have lived most of their life, why would anyone expect that to be the standard when they travel somewhere?

Typically if you actually want to go exploring as a tourist it's going to be somewhere that doesn't have military armed with AK-47s patrolling the streets in the non-touristy areas. This should be common sense.

I work in a very big american city. Almost every Friday there are a lot of Europeans/Latin tourist walking pass me as I go to my office pointing this or that out to their family or friends. I've seen these monuments, these structures before. They are common to me.

when people try to make me feel bad for not spending more time and money traveling, I pretend to be these tourist.. I pretend to be spending $$$ on food, hotels, flights etc... I pretend to be amazed at all the "tourist trap" things.

Then I go home after work. Enjoy a nice conversation on the phone with friends, chill with my son, and just do a little bit of coding (I code for fun.. its relaxing for me).. Life is fine for me without all the hassles of "real" traveling. I'll do it every now and then, but its not the "end all, be all". ymmv. :)

Hey if that's what you want out of life then more power to you.

I have bigger ambitions. Some people are happy working as a base level employee their entire lives too, and that's fine. Other people are restless and have to keep moving upwards.

There isn't a right or wrong, but trying to claim you have it all figured out while the rest of us who enjoy this somehow don't is the part I disagree with.

I want to climb mountains. If you are happy sitting at the top of a small hill near your house and enjoying the view from there that's great. I'm not satisfied with that and I never will be. And that extends to pretty much every aspect of my life.

you must have a lot of time. How can you climb mountains while on the other hand, you spend a lot of time and focus on traveling?

usually, people say one must specialize if one wants to be good at something. Or else one will be a jack of all trades, but a master of none. oh well, whatever. To each his own :)

I'm talking mountains figuratively in life, career and in general.

Everyone dies eventually, but not everyone lives. Some just exist

If you live in America and don't value travel you're guaranteed to be a very boring and unenlightened person. Once you see how most cities in the rest of the world are designed, you learn that the surburban wasteland of strip malls and parking lots that makes up 95% of America's public space is a miserable place for social and cultural life.

Hope you can help me understand.

Seems to be a theme I've picked up too that the majority of women want to travel, be a nomad. Visit other countries, van life, whatever.

Even if they have never done it, probably will never do it. Seems they are always believing they will. Have a fantacy or aspirations or view it as the perfect life.

Is it social media planting this image in their head? Had it always been like this?

Where does it come from ? What's the reason?

I just want to seek understanding and the psychology behind it. Especially in older women , that have never done it and likely never will now their youth has gone and they have more responsibilities.
It's a good lifestyle. It's exiciting and the opposite to mundane. Why would one not want to travel? It's generally good for the soul, broadens your horizons. If people in general are saying 'it's good for the soul' then that has to be a positive right? Who would'nt want to go somewhere sunny and positive..somewhere where it's desingned to make you 'feel good'.

Don't think this is gender specific trend a lot of countries have increasingly poor outlooks for the younger generations and social media is awash with tales of a better cheaper life in 2nd and 3rd world countries

A decade ago when I was in my early 20's travelling was seen as something you would do for a year , before committing to any serious commitments the concept of constantly travelling or living abroad was almost non existent

Now things are a lot different , because. again a lot of the major western economies have allowed inflation out of control and many are " living to work" its not taking much for anyone without major commitments to think "sod this I'm off"

And this seems to be a trend happening across different age ranges , foreign countries are often filled with new experiences and attractions all of which gets broadcast back over the social networks

When your sitting in your hometown working a boring crappy job and just paying bills , its obviously going to become a desire for most to leave

J/k it's so they can insecure other women with bragging rights.

I think it's because travel is pure fluff - like the financial form of empty calories, or even the peac0ck with its ridiculously long tail. Now that said, I like to travel, but I like to travel a bit on the cheaper side and not spend on 5-star hotels just because I could.

BTW, I'm up to about 45 countries now. :)
