I know there are guys out there who are ugly but get laid consistently with decent looking women so I'm not worried about it. Yes, there is a difference. And one doesn't have to be incredibly tall and handsome to get women. I'm only 5'10" and have been called handsome, though I'm well aware I am not striking. My physique, as shown in an old photo post-contest in my avatar, is above average.

My experience has simply made me realize that many women can't separate the concept of having a well-rounded but respectful man from a ****ty man who's aggressive and punishes her when she makes mistakes.

The alternative is a nice, permissive guy.

I think the problem is a man that is too respectful can come off to a women be a yes man/nice guy who is weak underneath. They are looking for strength in some form.
