Observations about college sex life from someone that went to a party school.

This thread brings me back. Not sure if you all have heard of the channel but if you have not, I highly recommend checking out Snarp. This dude goes around to various sporting events, mainly in college, dressed as the other team's fan and trolls people. If you want to see typical American college girl behavior as well as typical college kid behavior, I highly recommend subscribing to his channel.

However, I noticed he took a trip to Athens and has trolled Georgia fans before as well in other videos.

Immediately I noticed the smugness that came from these girls. @CornbreadFed can comment a bit being an SEC guy himself but man I do not see how anyone can be in that environment and think they are in their prime place for meeting women. I also cannot for the life of me think how anyone considers those to be women who are pure, not tainted, and more "feminine".

Given that I did go to school there, I thought I was the only one for a second. You ran into so many macho women and that sort of behavior was so common. I even saw girls get into fights with guys at tailgates. For a while I thought I was the only one thinking that there is no way these are prime women or the state of the art type of women everyone talks about.

I moved to bigger cities and found far classier women and far better behavior as well. Could it just be a college thing? Who knows, but it is certainly a Georgia thing.

I don't think that using conference terms like SEC has meaning anymore with the athletic conference changes in the 2010s-2020s.

Originally, colleges formed athletic conferences with schools in a similar region and with similar academic standards.

The Ivy League was a bunch of prestigious Northeastern USA private colleges.

I would use a term like "legacy SEC" to cover the real SEC. The last 2 "legacy SEC" might be Arkansas and South Carolina, who joined the conference in 1991. Arkansas is an odd school. Pre-1991, it was in a conference with all Texas schools (Southwestern Conference), and it was sort of an odd fit there. Post-1991, being in a primarily Southeastern USA conference isn't a good fit there. Fayetteville, Arkansas feels more Southeastern than Southwestern. South Carolina feels more like the Southeast.

Real SEC schools to me are schools like Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Louisiana State, and Kentucky.

Oklahoma and Texas schools need their own conference, like the old days of the Southwestern Conference.

It was also a shame to see the Pacific 10/12 colleges go join random conferences.

However, I was watching the video and bro, that blonde's comment towards the end asking "are you gonna have a better job than me?". Like that video, as short as it was, describes what a dump college life in some college towns can be. I watch a few of that guy's videos and the one with Georgia had some of the, if not, most smug people of them all.

Then at the end when he gets into it with the local dude and his girl is saying "do you know who he is?". One of the comments said that the guy is a poster child of someone who never left their town. I swear that stuff cut deep because it was so accurate in describing his behavior.

Like are you kidding me? That kind of entitlement from a hard 6. And here we are hyping up college campuses as the gold mine for game, imagine having to deal with that for 4 years. Then literally like a minute later at 14:40, some chick destroys a dude's ego on live video for thousands to see. I am just not getting any of this where so many dudes claim "it's so easy because you will be around prime aged women who are not tainted in behavior".

If anything, I learned that being in NYC, the value of all the chicks in that video went down a huge notch as they had to compete with higher quality women for the same men.

Like no one can watch that video and tell me that college towns are full of these feminine gentle women in their peak that have good behavior. None of that video said decent behavior from women in college, I'd argue the hivemind and group power made them even more toxic.

There's no point in staying in a college town if you aren't a college student (undergraduate). With University of Georgia, Athens is a small-ish college town. Atlanta is not that far away (only 70-75 miles) so a lot of University of Georgia alumni end up in Atlanta.

In the legacy SEC, I would also say Tuscaloosa and Auburn are college towns that don't make sense for recent Alabama and Auburn graduates.

In Texas, University of Texas is in Austin. Austin is big enough that it makes sense for some UT graduates to stay in Austin after graduation.

Texas A&M is in College Station. College Station is a college town. It isn't big enough to justify staying there after graduation. That's why a lot of Texas A&M alumni go to Dallas, Houston, and even San Antonio.

However, at schools like Texas A&M and Georgia, there's a decent enough mating environment in College Station and Athens while the students are in school there.

Like Pac 12 schools in the Big 10? BRO!

The Los Angeles schools screwed over the Pacific 12 Conference. When UCLA and USC decided to leave it for a random conference, the rest of the Pac 12 schools started looking for other conferences. No school in the former Pac 12 improved by jumping to the Big 10/Big 12. It would have made more sense for the Pacific 12 to stay together.

The on campus sexual culture of most of the former Pac 12 schools had some differences with more of the middle of the country universities in the Big 10/Big 12.

The college mating scene has changed since the 1980s or even the early 2000s when I was an undergrad.

It does retain some advantages over the mating scene in the working world though.

A college campus has a lot of built in social structure for making friends and for finding mating opportunities that are difficult to replicate for working phase of life adults.

A lot of the college advantage is muted by the fact that most women on campus will have boyfriends at any given moment. However, at least these women are unmarried. In the working phase of life, most women could either have a boyfriend or be married at any given moment.

If I arrange a date on a weeknight with a start time of 7:30-8:30 PM with a fellow college student while I am a college student, I can take it later into the night without worrying about the after effects of the next day. It's easier to skip a Wednesday or Thursday morning college class or go to it half zoned out as compared to doing that with a job.

The same thing can be true for nightlife approaching on weekdays, especially Thursday nights. Many college students don't have Friday classes or schedule all their Friday classes to start after 12 PM. Thursday nights can get wild at college bars (undergrad and grad student population).

From the 1980s-early 2000s, it was more common to find longer lasting relationships while on campus. Once the Millennials started arriving on campus in the early 2000s, fewer college formed relationships were standing the test of the time.

I think one of the biggest changes in the college mating scene now is the change in biological sex ratios.

When I was evaluating colleges in my senior year of high school in 2000-2001, most of the colleges I evaluated had around a 50-50 ratio. Now, more colleges have a heavier female skew, something like 60-40 women. Additionally, graduate school programs that were around like 25-30% women in the 2000s are now nearly 50% women.

The Gen Z social dynamics on campuses are different than my Millennial era in the 2000s being in undergrad and graduate school. Gen Z grew up with more technology and didn't develop stronger in person skills. While the in-person social skills of 1980s born Millennials wasn't superb, it was superior to the late 1990s/early 2000s Gen Z's.

The last college game I went to was in Houston vs the Longhorns and the atmosphere there was like night and day compared to gameday at a SEC school. You saw types of college kids tailgating with each other and the environment was much friendlier and more inclusive. People were happy and just trying to have a good time and not pass out from heat stroke. In addition, the women there were diverse and hot too not just over glorified basic white women lampshading. At, Tennessee, it was basically a country club environment, or you came in with some family and friends and maybe interacted with the tailgate tent next you. A lot of men were just looking for a fight out of sexual frustration or trying to be a fake frat alpha and the women looked like the women in that video but were worshipped. I do not miss that environment at all and the reason I haven't gone back to a Tennessee game since I graduated.

In the scheme of things, it's true that most of those boyfriends don't mean a damn thing. Most women do not end up any of their college boyfriends longer term. Most women will not be with a college era boyfriend 5 years after graduation.

However, that might not matter in the short run. The college woman that a college man asks out after a Thursday afternoon 200 level class in sophomore year has a good chance of having a boyfriend at that moment of asking out and will reject going out on a Monday evening date due to said boyfriend. A guy might try to be persuasive despite her boyfriend, but it will rarely work. Most college men don't know the Boyfriend Destroyer lines tactic. Even if they did, using Boyfriend Destroyer lines as a tactic doesn't have a good success rate in getting women to spend more time alone socially in a romantic context.

It's a shame that the guy is not likely to get the date/hangout due to the boyfriend of the moment. While that interaction isn't likely to last, it is likely to result in a rejection for many other males approaching.

The average college guy takes many rejections in person and now online (which was rare in my 2001-2005 time frame in college).

I don't like that **** and in case of rejection or other stuff like that i think the drama is too much and i just cant bother with that.

I have success dating women from other colleges (women in college don't care about your money that much as long as they see a future in you and as long as you look and talk good) or women that just graduated (22-25), I never had luck with women older than 27 even for casual sex.

Social ostracization depends on the college. I didn't see it much at my college in undergrad (2001-2005).

Most college students do form monogamous, committed relationships to get laid. Most of the guys attempting to live unattached lifestyles and put up big notch counts end up failing. There's a small percentage of men on all campuses who can successfully have sex with many women but they are offset by the unattached guys getting ignored and not scoring.

I have success dating women from other colleges (women in college don't care about your money that much as long as they see a future in you and as long as you look and talk good) or women that just graduated (22-25), I never had luck with women older than 27 even for casual sex.

As an 18-20 year old, why would you have luck with women 27+? That's not your target market.

The interviewer’s big mistake is arguing with her. In the book How To Influence Friends and Family, the author suggests avoiding arguments and showing respect for other people’s opinions. You also know what the general consensus is about arguing with women.

With that said, the guy is getting a rise out of people for the views.

I lived in Georgia from 2001 to 2008. I did not go to a university there but I did go to high school. I can understand their societal seclusion and why the preppy people that live in Kenessaw do not want to associate with how ghetto towns like Decatur or Gwinnett County can be like.

Yeah I'm in College, and as for social ostracization, things have changed I guess, mind you my college is famous for being left leaning in my country.

It is VERY left leaning, there is communist propaganda everywhere although i do not consider myself "right wing" anyone can see that the shid on my uni is radical.

And so "players" "manipulators" "emotionally unavailable men" are not looked favorably, and funnily enough hoes do not look good either because i live in a conservative country, they have a bad reputation but they don't get "cancelled", so its a weird mix i guess. Things get to the point were some of the "players" get "cancelled" on social media specially if they cheated on an ltr (saw once on insta a dude who got "cancelled" because he cheated with like 15 girls who were new at campus), or even on campus people put their faces on papers in the walls and say these guys are creeps or whatever but that usually happens with dudes who either ****ed up their women really bad emotionally and even physically or dudes who just don't get a hint / actual creeps.

Because of that I rarely date inside my own college, when I do I usually go mode 1.5 (being honest and whatever but not sexually explicit), really saves your ass specially if you date one of them crazy hoes they have no proof of you doing anything wrong. I will say that not every woman here cancels players and some of them are publicly against cancelling, but their fat feminist friends encourage them sometimes so I rather not risk it and date exclusively outside of my social circle and only flirt with women I know well, others I just treat them with respect and because I'm kind of handsome they usually forgive me when I slip up or say not so feminist things unlike my other less attractive friends.

I'm not sure how it works on other colleges but that is my current experience.

And yeah man sometimes there are mature women out there who I would gladly hookup with, but I understand I'm probably not what they are looking for.

I think Georgia as a state, or at least the cities I have been in a lot (namely Athens and Atlanta) deserves a special case study on its people. I have been throughout the south and throughout America and the state is uniquely awful, or at least became that way this century. For starters, people just seem real sketch or having an angle. It is like everyone is trying to get something out of you or screw you over in some way. Even when I go back, it feels sketchier and sketchier compared to the rest of America.

At the same end, it is about as snotty and stuckup as it gets for a state too.
