When you approach a girl and she gives you her number easily, is that a good sign or a bad one? Does it show high interest or ....?
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
Yes and No.When you approach a girl and she gives you her number easily, is that a good sign or a bad one? Does it show high interest or ....?

He only made ONE mistake. He took her number.
keep trying to tell you guys when a women INITIATES a date or relationship she is not very serious. Women have a million reasons for asking you out.
Very few are for romantic purposes. This guy blamed himself. That's a shame. THE GIRL HAD LOW INTEREST FROM THE START. Him getting the number the 'easy way' should have alerted him not to take it seriously. You guys have to keep your EGOS in place. You think you must be fantastic for her to give you her number. It proves you don't know women. WHEN A GUY IS FANTASTIC WOMEN (most) ARE A LITTLE AFRAID to make a move.
They make their moves on guys that are NOT overpowering emotionally. If a woman thinks you are out of her league (above her) she will NOT ask you out.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
No way to tell...some women give out their numbers to get rid of guys and because it's safer to reject them via text from the safety of their own home than face to face. When you approach a girl and she gives you her number easily, is that a good sign or a bad one? Does it show high interest or ....?
That's why getting a number without an extended conversation and a date agreement is worthless. Even getting the number after getting a date agreement isn't that meaningful because a decent amount of those will flake too.No way to tell...some women give out their numbers to get rid of guys and because it's safer to reject them via text from the safety of their own home than face to face.
That's a good quote from AD and quite self-explanatory...what don't you understand?OK, I think I should have been more clear with my question. I'm specifically talking about what Anti Dump says in the quote bellow.
I'm trying to figure out why AD argues here that giving away the number is a bad sign. Is it because it shows the woman is desperate, or ...?
Pretty much what this guy said below...and everyone else said the same thing. When you approach a girl and she gives you her number easily, is that a good sign or a bad one? Does it show high interest or ....?
That is why you should get in the habit of giving her YOUR number.Yes and No.
If she gave you her phone number, the ONLY way you're going to know if she's interested or not is contacting her and see if she's open to meeting up with you.
Phone numbers mean nothing. The only way to determine real interest is by reaching out.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
That was my interpretation as well. But I was looking for a more experienced DJ's opinion as well. That's a good quote from AD and quite self-explanatory...what don't you understand? She's either desperate or has some interest in you which isn't romantic. Also highly likely she's a masculine woman.
I think I'm gonna try giving my number and getting their numbers with different chicks and see which works bestPretty much what this guy said below...and everyone else said the same thing.
That is why you should get in the habit of giving her YOUR number.
If you give a woman your number, and she hits you up; that shows that she is genuinely interested in you....because she has no obligation whatsoever to reach out to you.
So if she does, it says a LOT about her interest in you.
Because guess what, women don't reach out to guys (especially strangers) that they are not interested in.
LoL, I never do the insta shyt.At least it’s not her instagram. That’s basically purgatory.
