The problem could be solved just by limiting how many threads you can start in a certain time period, say 1 new thread every 3 or 5 or 7 days. I don't know if the software allows for that. Without that, you could just issue a warning against spamming, with threats of dire consequences if the warning is ignored.

I lived there 17 years bro including all of Mike's mayoralty. It's prosperous for his big shot billionaire real estate buddies. Bloomberg helped turn NYC into an expensive Charlotte. Glass boxes and chain stores. The middle class can't afford Manhattan and many parts of Brooklyn and Queens anymore. Small businesses can't pay the huge rent hikes and get replaced by Dunkin' Donuts. Often the chain stores shutter after a year or two and leave empty storefronts where tailors and grocers and bars once served patrons. This is the Bloomberg legacy, which has continued under De Blasio.

It's true that it's safe, and I give him credit for keeping the crime rate low. That's a pretty baseline thing for a mayor, though. That's like the old Chris Rock routine about bragging about not going to jail. Plenty of cities are safe, that's what they're supposed to be. Doesn't do much good if they're only safe for uber rich trust fund douches and bankers passing through on their way to Dubai. He still could have kept it safe without turning it into a shopping mall. That plus most of his ideas were half-baked and unconstitutional.

Thats fair criticism. But hey, at least he’s competent and data driven. I miss having a smart President. Even Daffy Duck is an improvement over Trump.
