Julian- Its fairly obvious that you don't see value in a more analytical approach. I get what you are saying and there is some validity to it. You don't like numbers, you advise to go by "feeling", don't think so much, take a simpler approach. You don't see value in details and that is fine. You probably don't like psychology/sociology either. That's fine too, everybody is different, but just because it doesn't suit your tastes doesn't mean there isn't validity to the other side of the spectrum. There happens to be a lot of highly rational/analytical minds that post on this forum so you are going to see what you are seeing. You might try accepting that and use it to enrich your own understanding. A big part of personal growth is learning to accept others for what they offer, not asking them to stop because of what you don't like about them. Many times its those that you despise that end up teaching you the most.

I personally prefer the HB number rating system over posters actually providing pictures as it gives the forum a better mental imagery of what the HB really looks like. Anything else guys would have sex with in 11 seconds. All the other stuff: she's bitchy, she's annoying, she's has too many orbiters, etc, are ridiculous excuses. There is no way any red blooded male in 2017 in North America, especially on here, would pass up sex with any average looking girl.

I really don't care if people use numbers... it's a good reference for how attractive THEY think a chick is. My 9 is another dudes 5. If you don't keep this in mind I agree with the OP it's meaningless. If you are going to give advice and a guy is making an @ss of himself with a chick a guy says in a 9... well it happens, and he just needs to understand the nature of chicks. If he says he's making a fool of himself with a 5.... well you have some kind of self loathing motherfvcker than need to work on his self esteem.

The number measures a single dimension; namely, the appearance of objective beauty. Women in the flesh are of course 'three dimensional', but that is harder to communicate and objectify. To be attractive and desirable, which can only be experienced in the first person, a woman has to score well in at least two dimensions.
