Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

How long has it been since you met a girl that has no red flags? Or maybe just one or two minor ones?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Since I was unaware of red flags so 25 years ago. I'm sure we have red flags ourselves but I have not seen a woman alive who had less than 3 red flags. For me I just hang out with them till I can't deal with their red flags or I find one with less red flags.

Just makes me wonder since everyone talks about how once you start noticing red flags it's time to bail or not take them seriously for an LTR. But seems like every girl is gunna have atleast a few red flags these days.

If you aren't seeing red flags you aren't looking hard enough or they are good at hiding sh1t?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I try to have a bless your heart approach to red flags myself. If it's to good to be true it usually is and if you start believing the hype that you built her up to on a pedestal then get ready for weeks, months and or years of depression in your future over something you built a person into in your mind but they were just another human in reality.

Thread translation: "I'm flawless. When was the last time all of you other flawless guys found a flawless woman?"

PSA: You are not perfect. Stop searching for a perfect woman. You will never find her. If she does exist you are not worthy of her. Because you are not perfect.

What are your red flags?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

if she was perfect she wouldn't be single (and she wouldn't be stealable either, you'd have to wait for the relationship to run its course)

You need to overcome natural disasters, not avoid them.
If your dates are analogous to disasters, you have poor taste in women.

I had to steal my woman away from her man. I didn't insist on dating women with no men.

Women who show signs of red flags are disasters waiting to happen. They are a ticking bomb waiting to go off.

devilkingx2, a woman has no obligation to stay with her boyfriend. If she finds better, by definition of the word better, she should take it. This is not cruelty, quite the opposite. This is necessary to inspire the lesser man to improve.

Well it's good to think about WHY they have these red flags. They are missing something within themselves, trying to fill some kind of void. Figure it out, and use it. They will love you even more for it. And then go in deeper and deeper to make it so that her void will be even bigger if you leave. That's how you leave your mark on a woman. That's how you make her yours forever. That's how you reach the top of her 'high score', if you will.

You couldn't be more wrong bro lol I know I'm not perfect. Started the thread because a girl I've known for about a year and have been talking to a lot lately really isn't showing any red flags that I can see. Since I've joined here learning to better judge girls has been something I wanted to improve on, so not like I don't know what to look for.

When we first met (as many of you know) my girlfriend had enough red flags to scare a buzzard off a sh!twagon (she was a 20 year old stripper for starters). One by one I realized most of the things that scared me about her were exaggerated, or all in my imagination, or she grew out of them, or she admitted she was wrong, or she trended in the other direction. Suddenly she has blossomed into a nearly perfect woman.

If it feels incredible (for both of you) to hold each other, you can work through most of the other things.

My bad homie.

I just hate the "all woman suck" narrative going on here.

I still think everyone has red flags. Including that girl and yourself.

so in your mind a perfect girl isn't loyal but is instead willing to throw you away the moment the next guy she likes comes along?

I've already dated girls like that, it's a fvcking disaster.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
