Poetry: Won’t you chill and have some wine with me my friend?

Hey dude, just got back home
from a slow shift, won’t you chill,
I have some pizza bagels in the fridge
and have some wine with me?

It’s been a long ass day my friend,
I’d be reading a damn good book
about Vegan cuisine and South East Asian
history, but since you’re in my schedule
I thought about kicking back and
talking about philosophy and politics
with yours truly. I got your back
and will sweet talk your girlfriend
on the phone to stay an extra hour or two
my friend, and crank call some old
comrades on the speaker like there’s no
tomorrow.

It’s always an enlightening perspective
to learn something over wine and
a classic conversation. Heck we
can even go skateboarding over this
and ollie on in that sunset like a
cowboy riding the Arizona desert,
in a blazing saddles of glory.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Poetry: Theres a time and place for everything.

Like a fierce Katana Blade,
loving devotion, giving and knowledge
of the spirit heals the soul when
it matters and brings forth an
easing silent calm stillness
amongst a band of brothers.

Poetry: Morning hygiene routine.

Spraying yourself with a good
after shave spray cologne while checking
and answering a few of your buddy’s
text or emails before breakfast,
while gently placing gentlemen
lotion on your callous mood skin
to the sounds of retro country
on the radio, is a lost art but very
relatable these days. It grows on you.

Poetry: Beauty is only skin deep

At the end of the day,
or decade for that matter,
is how many souls we’ve
touched against the war
against narcissism and self centeredness
that is holding us back
from enjoying a damn good round
the table homecook meal
with the guy right next to you.

Poetry: Friday night at Carmike Movies

Here I am
passing glorious sniping,
slingshots of glorious devotion
to passerbies in this Friday
evening tonight, a pleasure well
earned to many of you, cheers!
let’s bring forth calm peaceful viewing
and nicely drank brew or wine at home.

Poetry: A typical day off with you.

I freakin love this rice porridge
you made me, it reminds me of
that Bob Marley song on a
good spring day, you can just
chill out and enjoy the quietness
of the cars passing by while
you’re enjoying the blissful stillness
laying down on your hammock.

It’s a spring day here as well,
so we’d get out our sunglasses
in the mire and our straw fedora hats
from the windy Bahamas to
enjoy quiet moments in our local street
markets somewhere. How
about we walk half way and then catch a
cab for fun and shop talk and talk
politics and orthodox philosophy with
the driver, in amusing fashion?

We’d come right back, I’ll help you wash
the dishes after dinner, afterwards I’ll smoke
my pipe on the front porch while calling
my best bud to see how he’s doing on the phone.
Please don’t tell me your parents are
coming over tonight because it’s always
an adventure with them, because your mom
would always have me doing errands, while
your dad would always invite me for coffee,
which I can’t refuse sometimes.

Poetry: A Man’s right of Passage.

A prayer out in the forests
is a noble act with the intention of healing those
in need and also with the intention of
taking care of the animals and continuing
a devoted spiritual cycle in the area surrounding one self.

It is getting a hatchet and peacefully building
a hut, knowing the basics of survival and thriftiness of success such as knowing how to
set up camp, knowing how to hunt and interact with other creatures and so on. You become a
wildman who rinses on most days and meditates and fasts to regain his strength faster from the days before.

It is like fishing peacefully in the lake, you lean back and chew certain herbs while you have a routine down and pretty much know how to alternate bait. You keep this pattern up til you plan this great escape and have built a certain device on hand when the chopper or jet plane enters the scene, you’re ready.

Poetry: Skateboarding in forbidden territories .

I’ll ollie on and memorialize this
moment for you bro, with a snapshots
of my polaroids and a gentle holding
of my retro cam corder I’ll memorialize
these epic nights in cool, wavy fashion
and let it broaden the rest of our days.

So it seems like were in forbidden
territory, lets grab our pipes and
fear not and take a nice puff
by the corner as we glide
in nice artistic fashion on our free time.
Like a Wrestlemania ladder match,
we’ll keep doing this and elevate
our tricks, by damn rung, by damn rung,
hallelujah almighty! by damn rung! til
the sirens appear and we vanish
gloriously into the moonlight air.

Poetry: A spiritual Master and Best Friend.

I’ll embrace the warmth of
your smile after offering me bread
and honey after a long journey
just to hear your sweet words
because Im an ignorant man
and I have much to learn, thank
you for your kindness.

You’ve always said to
love your neighbor as much
as yourself, to me that seems
impossible sometimes, but since
your my best friend, I’ll attempt
to do it. I know you were
with me even in the most
strangest roadtrips and exciting
concerts that can influence the
mind to do unwanted things.

Nothing like coming home
from church all relax, brew some
chai tea, wearing my brown blazer
and hearing and reading about
you on my trusty ole King James Bible.
You taught me compassion
for my fellow man, in the mist
of doing some street preaching
and for that I’m forever indebted to you
and will glorify you as my spiritual master
and best friend.

Poetry: Netflix and Chilling Titanic on Thanksgiving at 2:30 am

Pass the popcorn, mac and cheese,
coleslaw and turkey sub will ya?
Were in for a long sentimental festival
and it’s Thanksgiving for the love
of Yeshua and don’t mind me if I
take a few sentimental smoke breaks
on the front porch myself since
it’s a freakin marathon of a film
we got on.

Your dog is more than
welcome to fall asleep on my
lap while I smell the cheesy
popcorn being made in the
microwave. It’s a quiet night
during these hours, The Lord
created the pause button for a reason,
we can head on out for a Budlight
chilada run in the mire, and more
chips for snacks at Circle K.
It’s been a roasty ass night
and I appreciate the Christmas
Carolers coming in early this time
of the year and singing ‘ O Holy night’
so in a way, watching this stuff
is just icing on the cake. Let me
lean back, chill and drink some
Coronas will ya and browse Fox
and CNN news between the bloopers
on the latest antifa shenanigans.
In a way Im sort of missing some
brotherly love right now, we’d
be playing driveway pick up basketball
during these hours.

So let’s sit right back and capture
this moment like a painting, like it’s
2006 again, it’s peacefully rare and vivid.
Like a freakin cheese fest of a movie,
we go in phases of romantic infatuation
to letting it all go.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Poetry: Living in a luxury condominium in Manila.

Time to pour the milk into the cereal
and rise up to feed the birds in
the birdhouse patio in these
dusky morning hours. It’s a good day
and thank god, I am 8,000 miles
away from my problems.

I think I’ll take a good pipe smoke
in my balcony just now, have a good
sit down and read my novel of the day.
Then e-mail a long lost JV teammate
and comrade whom I haven’t spoken to
in fifteen years, yeah, ask him how’s
he’s doing. It’s a good day and thank
god I am 8,000 miles away from my
problems.

Poetry: Starbucks Hot Pockets
Looking forward to more hot pockets
In the coming morning to come. I appreciate
You making it for me and I’m simply gonna
Wash this down with some mocha frappe
To go. It’s only five am after all and I’m off
Today so let me devour it from the pleasures
Of my own home. Then take a cold shower,
Clean my ears, put on lotion and go back
Straight to bed. Then dream of the Arabian
Deserts and a flock of doves one more time

Poetry: Let’s take our time in getting to know one another.
Let’s take our time in getting to know
One another. There’s no rush, we’ve got
All the time in the world, here and the here after.
So sip that coffee, listen to amusing stories
And drink that wine. You’ve got a shoulder
To lean on and a motivator to let you shine.
Girl you’ve got powers to turn bullets into
Flowers in mid air, after all these years of
Being acquaintances I
Still care, care enough to let you do your thing
And handle business.

Poetry: Plain living, high thinking.
Plain simple living and high thinking
Is the solution to a lot of the world’s problems.
When you live a life of moderation and in
Solitude, with one with nature, you’re on your way
To success

Poetry: Warm embrace after return.

Welcome back, my, I feel you have blossomed, for things between us will be blissful once more, we’ll sit in silence on our sofas and be telepathically in tune with one another

Come my lady
Come-come my lady
You're my butterfly, sugar baby
Come my lady
Come-come my lady
You're my butterfly, sugar baby

Such a sexy, sexy pretty little thing
Fierce nipple pierce, you got me sprung with your tongue ring
And I ain't gonna lie 'cause your loving gets me high
So to keep you by my side, there's nothing that I won't try
Butterflies in her eyes and the looks to kill
Time is passing, I'm asking could this be real?
'Cause I can't sleep, I can't hold still
The only thing I really know is she got sex appeal
I can feel, too much is never enough
You're always there to lift me up
When these times get rough, I was lost, now I'm found
Ever since you've been around
You're the women that I want
So yo, I'm putting it down

@BaronOfHair cool. I just posted this on another forum but here's another.

I am currently learning this now in my dance class!

The Shuffle. I'm trained but NOT in this, it's not easy! Next is hip hop!

Many people consider rap a form of poetry. I do!

Curious what y'all thoughts are.
KRS-One certainly did...

Beside my brother, S-C-O-T-T...
I just laughed, cause no one can defeat me...
This is lecture number two, "My Philosophy"...
Number one, was "Poetry" you know it's me...

And don't get me even started with Eric B and Rakim or GangStarr
