' High on Cocoa Puffs and Donkey Kong in the 90s'
I'm high on cocoa puffs, Super Nintendo on Donkey Kong
microwavable pizza rolls, peach cobblers and
glorious X-Men cartoon on a Saturday morning.
I'd probably better get ready on that
Charlotte's web assignment and read the whole thing
in badass fashion, there's a Bulls and Rockets game
today, Olajuwon vs Jordan dude
more events for the day's actions.
I thought about the calling the guys
over for some multiplayer action on Goldeneye
and bond over some Basketball, Pizza
and Lipton Ice tea and go biking around
the neighborhood and subdivision
for miles and miles. At the end of the
day, just lay back, crash on the couch
and watch an episode of Maury
and learn some good ole fashion American values
and lessons and I say that sarcastically.
Nows the time to hang tight, let loose
and be absolutely silly.
The word for the day is compassion
as we later take a road trip to Wal mart
and see a bunch of homeless people
sitting on the ground, the tune of
the Backstreet boys, we sat there
curious, still and without making a sound.
Pick up Basketball games later in the driveway
when the sunset is starting to begin,
a three pointer from the grass, a lay up
and bank shot, we laughed and grin.
The wind blows by and the smell
of autumn leaves in the corner gathers
and is being raked,
memories is what's being captured
and stayed in the memoirs of our days.
