"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I have got a question that needs to be answered...please.

So theres this one girl that is on my bus and she's like a HB9. From what I have noticed, she is one of the strong silent types, and isn't the one that talks to people all day long, like any other HB. BTW she is a junior and I'm a freshman. So that day on the bus I go up to her and sit by her. She is in my lunch period so I told her she looked familiar, and she responded. I told her my name, and gave her a light handshake (Note that she didn't tell me her name for some reason). I could tell that she was pretty nervous and stunned that I had come up to her and I don't know if she knew what to do, like I said she is pretty shy. I just started a regular conversation and all that, everything was going good I guess. I was mostly carrying the conversation. BTW she said that I looked older than my age, so that was a plus. Her stop came so she said bye and all. Ok, I think i did pretty good. (Keep in mind that this was my first ever cold approach).

The next day in school I see her around. I try to make eye contact with her but for some reason she looks away. It might be because she is shy or isnt interested? I don't know what I should do. Should I just completely stop talking to her or should I approach her again? Im pretty confused, and would like some help.

Someone reply with lengthy advice lol....appreciated.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

My take is that she isn't interested in you. An HB9 that is 2 years older than you probably will not be interested in you. Sorry.

Most girls in HS want older guys, not younger ones.
