Would you date a woman with children?

I like children, I adore my 1 year old Nephew to pieces, but that said I wouldn't date a woman with children. As much as I like children, I don't want any of my own and I sure as hell don't want to care and look after anyone else's.

First off, take the advice of others and leave it alone. It's a hassle and you will be (and should be) second or third or last on her priorities. Since I have two kids myself, I find that dating women with kids automatically gives us something in common.

That being said, I dated two women recently with kids. The first had two baby-daddies and two sons, ages 8 and 9. They were misbehaved, squirrely little punks and I couldn't stand being around them for the little time I had to. She's totally out of the picture now.

The second had two teen daughters and the father was out of the picture. Having teens myself I knew she was doing a good job raising these kids and we had lots of common ground. In the end, I stopped seeing her because I wanted fun and adventure and she wanted a husband.

Not anymore. Did that, from chicks with newborns to chicks with 5 kids. There's a imbalance in freedom/free time and discretionary spending/funds. I wanted to go out and do sh!t, she would always have to find a sitter, not to mention the money to pay for a sitter. She was broke most the time and got less hot as time passed

I'm dating a girl with a child now! When she said she had a kid that threw me off big time because I was really feeling the chick. Worst part is I know the baby daddy. Even though he is way older then me we are in both the same fraternity at the same school (he pledged before me). I'm beating up my own frat members (K.O.'d 3) and now I'm dating their baby mommas. Whats the world coming too??

You can't help who you like though. I'm only dating 2 chicks (fine women that I'm really feeling the vibe with), but I'm talking/smashing 8 more chicks (cute girls that I refuse to take these girls out unless they pay). But I'll make sure I won't get too serious with this one. She'll just have the special place in the heart.

Btw, my dad used to beat me up when I was a kid. But now, looking back at it, I deserved all of it. It made me a better person and it built my character.

I think Belt nailed this one. Nothing makes a kid more jealous than his mom showing someone else interest in front of them. It's always going to be a financial liability one way or another. Maybe mom will pay for the kids things but now mom doesn't have much money for herself. No matter what you end up paying for those kids who prolly hate your guts.

Dating a girl with a kid is the exact definition of "chump". If you are ok being a chump, then go nuts.

No matter what the girl is like that you are dating, she is always thinking of how to get you to pay for her kids in the back of her mind. If she wasn't, she wouldn't be dating. Women who can actually pay for their kids because they have a nice career do not date.
