Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

All about attitude not bank balance.

(the latter changes but hopefully the former is more developed and resilient)

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Poor as living from food stamps, etc? Nope. I won't date a woman under those conditions.

But I would date a woman that comes from poor background and manage to overcome it by going to college and becoming an accomplished person. I would also date a woman that is going to college (e.g. PhD, etc.), even if she has a poor background or is poor. Because in that case, she has a future.

If she works in a department store and is out of College already...I won't date her. If she works in a food chain restaurant (and out of college)...I won't date her. If she is a waitress (and out of college)...I won't date her. If she works in a barber shop (not the very $$$ salons or spas)...I won't date her. If she does NOT work...I won't date her. If she is not educated (or at least going to college)...I MIGHT not date her (unless she is already rich).

Would I sleep with any of them? Maybe, although, unlikely. But I won't do the dating thing.

I dont "date" regardless but as usual I agree with Rollo, worrying about a chicks financial status is not something men do, its for chicks.

Poor? who cares I still wont be paying for her sh!t and she still has a snatch yes?.
Men should worry about women financial status. You never know... you might fall in love with that woman. And seeing all her negatives can help you put things in perspective. Heck, can help you AVOID falling in "lust" (especially if that woman is real hot).

Therefore, the more data you have (while having a CLEAR mind) the better you are. You see? You don't want a woman that has a LOT of debts and LOT of bad spending habits in your life.

"Dating" for me = already being involved with that woman. Because I don't "date" unless I'm already intimate with that person.

For a casual thing it doesn't matter at all.

The 20 yr old that I have been hooking up with has no money and doesnt even have a job to be able to make money anytime soon. The 33 yr old I have been seeing is polar opposite. Good job, big house, nice car, and money to spare. I haven't spent a penny more on either one of them than they have spent on me, so it doesn't matter.

If I were considering a girl for a long term thing, it doesn't matter if she is rich or poor but it DOES matter 100% what kind of attitude she has about money. If she doesn't have any money at the time but I can see that she is moving in the right direction I am willing to give it a chance. On the other hand even if she appears to be rich, if she doesn't show good judgement with money, I'm outa there.
That's the point I was trying to make too.
