"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I guess these things are just unpredictable. i thought i had everything planned from start and now everything went totally wrong. I had opportunity with 2 chicks and i screwed up bad. I attempt to look for other chicks but i failed as well. My buds are all starting to leave me out on things. Prom is in 5 weeks and i still have no date. My buds are making prom plans without me. I am just frustrated and disappointed with myself at the moment. I guess I learned that things always cant go the way you want it to be. what a great way to end high school.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

STOP BEING NEGATIVE. At first, people will try to sympathize with you and try to help, but if you are being stubborn in your depression/down, then people will simply ignore you. If you wallow in your self-pity, nobody will want to help you simply because of the fact that you don't want to help YOURSELF. Stop whining and crying in the dark corner because something didn't go your way. That is the immature and insecure way of dealing with things. You have these tools at your fingertips. Figure out what you did wrong and improve upon your failures. Be positive and upbeat no matter what life throws your way. Get on with life, because, if you don't, life will simply leave you behind.
