Something happened ......



















I had my 90 day evaluation and I received a 78 cent raise. Previously I received a $1 raise within the 2nd week when I first started. My supervisor is real happy. The owner is really happy. The owner wants me to learn everything as fast as possible so he give me a truck and a crew. This is great. But I work hard .

If they fail to compensate you for inflation, start looking for other work. The best way to a good raise, is other gigs in the pipeline.

I'm living with the bare necessities now . This Job does have potential if I get a under me. But its hard to get these young kids ages 17 to 25, to last more than Two days .Because they are 85% plusses that can't do hard work.

At the least this is character building at most i can get a crew under me and possibly this will lead to other things.

Well said. If nothing else, it shows that you are like one of the 15% that is willing to work hard. And you're learning.

Why do you keep repeating these numbers? Obviously you all hate me which, whatever. But why not get over it in trying to improve my life and change my ways. If I could make amends I would do it

? I'm not sure you read my post. I was trying to congratulate you.
You said 85% of the kids wouldn't do hard work. I was saying it was good that you were like one of the 15% who could.

This^ is exactly what we are at work anymore, slaves to the system.

Gone are the days with a nice and simple "go to work 5 x days, be on time, work hard, have pride in your work, go home, get paid on Friday. "

Now it's "Go to work, do your job, do 3 x people's jobs who are slackers and won't pull weight, do 3 x more people's jobs to account for short staffing to begin with, get blamed for stuff you didn't do or chastised for the tiniest mistake, watch others who didn't do anything get credit for your work when successful, stand up for yourself and get written up for being adversarial, go home with temporary energy loss and a little more of your soul permanently gone"

If you have to max the credit cards out then buy Bitcoin.... On a spike, sell half and put it into gold. That way, you may have some chance of wealth...
