Women's ads on this forum

Has anyone noticed how many sponsored ads are showing up on this forum that are directed to women?

I'm talking about women's fitness clubs and reading materials that are directed toward them.

What can we glean from this? Is it possible that advertisers figure that there are tons of female lurkers here?

or do you think advertisers are thinking where men are trying ot better themselves, lets manipulate them in to bettering their women too. Example...Fitness clubs.... help your chick on the way to getting a hot body. Although i am sure there must be a few more women on here.

Noooo, come on. As far as I know, women have a life and men don't. So men surf the internet, while women are playing out doors.

The ads are placed by computer programs. Discussions of "dating and relationship" topics are almost always predominately female, both in person and on the Internet. The ad programs typically cannot tell the difference between sosuave and loveshack, even though they are very different.

Bible Belt, I think you must be right about that. Still I would swear that there has been a sudden sharp rise in female advertising.
