Advice from the old lady:
This, IMO, is simply the grown up version of the 14 and 15 year olds who get boyfriends all the time because they will have sex. I am teaching my teenage daughter about this phenomenon currently. She sees girls in her school who are sexually active. These girls get passed from boy to boy to boy and get used and get bad reputations. My daughter thinks it is gross (it is) and sees that these girls get labeled as sluts early. It reeks of low to no self esteem and a behavior of trying to trade sex for love (because love is lacking in the lives of those girls.)
Show me a woman who says "All men want is sex!" and I'll show you a woman with a bad attitude who has nothing more to offer than sex...and she will get used constantly because sex is a commodity and if she has nothing else to bring to the table? She's going to get sex all the time...and not much else. Men eventually drop women who can only offer sex, no matter how hot they are. Women who trade just on their looks many times do not realize that men need more substance than just sex for a relationship. And they don't set about being better people.
Now. It is patently obvious that all men want sex. Duh. But that understanding is very different that the "all men want is sex" attitude. Women with more than sex to offer know to let the man see there is more to them than just sex. And women with more to offer than sex are really the sorts of women that men are more naturally drawn to. So sex becomes a part of the whole rather than the whole thing.
Sadly the things these women say (All men want is sex...Men only care about getting off...Men are selfish...etc. etc. etc.) simply indicates that these are women who are accustomed to being used and thrown away. They broadcast it without realizing that they are broadcasting it.
And then they wonder why it is that they continue to get used for just sex...and more jaded and all that stuff. Those are your future crazy cat ladies people. You can spot them a mile away. They tell you who they are.
