Point 1. The way a guy sees a gay guy...or calling somebody gay would be a thing of disrespect...

But When a guy sees a hot chic but later finds out that she's a lesbian...he'd not look at her with disrespect...

He'd find that challenging...

Some studies I read in undergrad said that both men and women were generally turned on by lesbian porn yet neither were generally turned on by gay male porn. These studies measured biological responses rather than survey data and were published in peer reviewed journals, I'm sure one could find some of them with a little effort if interested in the gory details. This confirms a couple of things, people are biologically predisposed or socially conditioned to respond to female on female contact and that most men are not gay
