"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

yeah, so summer is great, there's like infinite date/hangout things you can do. But I live in the midwest. It's like 30 degrees outside rite now. I go out to dinner often enough on weekends with my gf/go to the mall/hang out at our houses (always a good time) but that's about it. I snowboard but she doesn't and I really don't want to teach her jus bcuz everybody has a sh*tty first few times.

What else is there to do in the winter??

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Don't be lazy. Teach her; both of you will enjoy it, and she will appreciate it. It will only help your relationship, as she sees how you care for her -- but without overdoing it like an overprotective mother.

Thirty degrees is not that cold, even with your wind chill. I've been there many times. If you are old enough, or have a fake I.D., go to a few clubs in Chicago or go play pool, bowling, basketball, indoor tennis, swimming pool, etc.

Invite her over for something "boring" but when she comes over surprise her with a self-cooked dinner. She would love that more than a restaurant because you prepared it.

There is more to winter than snowsports, going to the mall and doing the same sh1t over in one's house. I just listed a few; you're welcome.

Sledding is always fun. There is still most likely local bands playing shows at local venues find a band that plays a genre of music that you both can agree on and go. You can go ice skating just do whatever you want don't let the weather restrict you to much. Be impulsive and do whatever comes to mind. Also being impulsive and doing something out of the ordinary and spontaneous is always a plus.
