Just curious what the consensus is. I think the answer is no...
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
Agreed. Game is #1, everything else is secondary and can be worked on.PrettyBoyAJ said:Game trumps all. Yes.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Wishful thinking. If game did trump all, every man on this forum who tried the tips here would have no problems with women. Game can only get you so far. Personality can too. I dated a older woman who makes 6 figures. She's in a brand new hummer, and I'm in a Pontiac. That experience I had was proof that game is not a be all end all. If you're either physically or financially attractive, you're good. She'd still be talking to me if I looked like I bench press 400 pounds and pulled up in a Mercedes.PrettyBoyAJ said:Game trumps all. Yes.
True. You don't need to be rich if you are extremely handsome OR extremely famous.Who Dares Win said:That same woman doctor would date an extreme sport champion sponsored (who earned less than her)
Sorry nismo, disagree with above too. You can be the richest guy but if you are boring, the girl won't care about you. I've been out with FHM models who knew I had some money, but I had no game at the time, so they said no to a second date.nismo-4 said:Wishful thinking. Has your game ever made you any more physically attractive to a woman as opposed to your muscles? I think not. Game can't cover up flab, scars, and fat. Sorry.
Has your game ever made you any more financially attractive in a woman's eyes? I think not. It can't beat an Armani Suit or a Rolex or a Maserati.
Yes it can. I have 2 friends who have never worked out in their lives. One is 200lbs the other is 5'5 and 205lbs. Neither has much money, are cheap, and buy very cheap clothes but dress nicely, and both are married to good looking women who are both pregnant now.
To answer the question, she'll date such a man, but she'll hold most of the cards unless you're very handsome.
Also, persistance, goals, dreams, and ambitions help in the FUTURE, but girls want what you have in the PRESENT (THE NOW!)
Case closed.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Gee, I wish I was your unemployed friend who buys respect with the actions of an unemployed man with no career path.AAAgent said:Yes and game trumps all.
@bigneil: money doesn't buy respect, actions do. My friend strings along 3-4 girls at a time before when he was a casino gambler, waiter, etc. He was dating pharmacists, nurses, managers, etc. It's all about maintaining the frame. He doesn't bring any of his problems into any of his relationships, no matter how much debt he has or can't make rent. He will just tell his girls, they can't come over but he can go over theirs, if not then oh well.
Not having money or looks just makes it harder to get noticed as a man, but persistence always pays off if your smart.
Im really sorry Neil, but Ive read with amazement some of your trifles with `pay as you go` women, and also some of your words of `wisdom` on the finer points of womanising and realize that you dont know what your talking about!bigneil said:Gee, I wish I was your unemployed friend who buys respect with the actions of an unemployed man with no career path.
The more you earn, the more attractive you are, and it's a lot harder to earn more than it is to be pretty or "have game". So stop looking for short cuts. If you're unemployed and unattractive, you need to get improved, not get game.
Also, women aren't the ultimate fulfillment, they are the prize in the game of life. To win you must fulfill your maximum potential, which means being a man on a mission and working hard for 20+ years, and being fortunate and to some degree lucky.
I think Neil is sort of implying to be better than that. Don't be the guy who spends all his time sleeping with women while neglecting a career or earning money. Be the guy who has both a CAREER and WOMEN, which is much better than living paycheck to paycheck.TonyBaloney said:There are so many men out there who are on low incomes, are criminals, plain dumb, or are just good in bed with nothing else to recommend them...... this last point I think you'll find is far more important to a woman than money..... atke it from me. Ive never had money, but ive ALWAYS had women......
