What if I don't want to waste my time talking to girls that don't want me talking to them?
You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?
Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.
One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.
Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
Most beautiful you can and should ALWAYS do: stay yourself. Even if it means you have to run away from it.A lot of men here have been in unhealthy LTR's. I have a friend who is on the verge of losing his soul to the woman he's in an LTR with, it's very sad when you see this happen.
I don't think having an LTR is looked down on here. However, I do think that this site promotes the mindset of having options. And if you have attractive women who are interested in you, then having a girlfriend and jumping into a relationship aren't things that are a priority on your list. Why bang the same p00n when you can get a variety of women? Besides, DJs let girls come to them and have them do the exclusivity talk, at which point you set down your rules as the leader of the relationship. What if I don't want to waste my time talking to girls that don't want me talking to them?
You are absolutely correct. The idea that you are somehow less masculine for having a girlfriend is laughable. As you state, meaningless sex can get boring after awhile. Getting into a deeper relationship is the logical next step. Trying to shame that as feminine or beta is nonsense, and is (not coincidentally) about the biggest insult you can throw around here. You really think there aren't manly, masculine out there who aren't in relationships? Really?Well i have to disagree with you here. Looking down on someone and bashing them go hand in hand, and I've seen it on SS many times. If you look down on someone for a preference they have, you are an ******* .
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
LOL. "Enough meaningless sex". Says the 19 old??? GTFO out of here with that bvll**** mate.I have a girlfriend.
It's your own preference. The guy's who bash other dudes for being in a relationship either havnt had enough meaningless sex to realize it gets boring, or are introverts, or something like that. To each his own.
This site has never looked down upon having a girlfriend. You are assuming perhaps to make yourself feel better. What if I don't want to waste my time talking to girls that don't want me talking to them?
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
You are wrong about this, my husband chased me to marry him. I wasn't crazy about getting married. I didn't care less. It was his idea and he never let up. He was a man who liked to be married with security. This is a man's website. LTR's are a woman's frame. Celebrating things like marriage is for women.
I look around at my friends, and the ones that let things get as far as marriage are the ones that were always p1ss poor with women.
The women chose them. They are typically raising another man's kids and dealing with a lot of drama.
Marriage is an indication of lower value in a lot of cases.
That's a masculine frame.
Yep, thank God for the mature man forum.Another reason why LTRs are frowned up is because this place (and especially this general forum) is made up mostly of younger guys. And they are of course at the age when casual sex is the most common. Many men this age may not have even yet met a woman worthy of having a relationship with, so naturally they are against it.
And all swans were white... until they found Australia.these hoes aint loyal
Thank God, someone with common sense. The young guys just don't get it till they age creeps up on them, and it will before they know it. Then they will realize how young, dumb and immature they were. It happens to all of us.Yep, thank God for the mature man forum.![]()
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
