"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I once had oneitis for a girl, so I gotaway as best I could. We live close by so pf course I would bump into her every now and then, but I managed to keep the meetings short & civil. She may or may not of knew how much I liked her.I never told her or anyone else.
About 6 months has passed now & I've moved on.However I'm out in a local fun bar with friends and riight out the blue appears this very girl.Theres a few of us blokes but she dives on me for a huge hug.I decided to be flirty, hugged back, told her I had nt recognised her from behind as I thought she'd gained a few pounds (she's very slim) nipped her bum and moved her on.
I found another girl to dance with but I was interupted, dragged away to dance with first girl and she pointed out she was far slimmer than the other girl I'd gone to dance with.
Now I know this girl has no interest in me whatsoever and I dare say she was looking for a ego boost. What I dont understand is why me.Theres other blokes that are my mates that she could flirt with for a ego boost.I cant understand why she needs this reassurance from me.Any ideas.
Cheers.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I don't think you should be concerned. If you know she's an AW then forget her. Don't try too hard analyse the female mind and why they do what they do..

...maybe she felt like an ego boost you were chosen at random/ she finds you slightly more attractive than the other guys that were there at the time

"She may or may not of knew how much I liked her"

....girls like to know how a guy feels about them; maybe she just wanted to confirm that she could have you any time she wanted - again its just another ego boost.

In the end it doesn't really matter...unless she continuously does it..but from your post in only seems to be a single event. maybe she was just overly drunk that night:confused:

Do you want us to tell you that you were wrong about her and she DOES like you?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

yep, sounds like she's totally in love with you. I suggest you propose marriage before you break her heart.

Cheers boys. Like I said I've moved on and this one and I have no desire to return. But if you think proposing marriage might get rid of her then I'll give it a try.
