"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I don't get it, this girl that I know is 19 and married to a 40 year old, they have been having really bad issues for quite some time and she has been spending more time with me, she was with me on their 1 year and the other night he raped her because he thinks if he gets her pregnet she will stay, for some reason she keeps going back to that house, she has said she has no more feelings for him but yet still goes back, ends up in some crazy fight and runs away almost nightly.

What the heck is wrong with people?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Well, Muppet, for starters you seem to not know that much about women.
I wouldn't go as far as saying there's "something wrong" with you, though.
But,yeah, there is something wrong about your perceptions.
But try to get over this anger, and resentment, and thinking you can force people to do what you expect them to do.
Learn about women, and improve yourself. Those are your responsibilities.

I hope I answered your question.
Good luck!

To anwser your question:

People are emotional beings, especially women, and they want what they can't have. What you're seeing is an emotional reaction to not having something and wanting to fill that emotional void. There is nothing rational about this.

why is it people on this website and life in general want to go after the most wounded and fvcked up people in the world.

I wouldn't want her even if I could get her. Too much emotional baggage. There is way to many good looking girls out there to go after a fvcked up one.

Give them what they want by not giving them what they want.

Women (especially those in need) give many men purpose.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

The girl is a HOR! The 40 year old man is her pimp.

She keeps going back to him (her pimp) to pay him so she has someone to support her.

Well, out of all that, Bachelor was the only one who actually answered the question. Can't a guy get a straight answer around here, instead of a bunch of wanking?

Beavis, may I remind you that perhaps 99% of ALL the Goddamned questions people have here are answered already not only in archived posts, but in the DJBible???

How about cutting us some slack, huh?? Just a little??!

Read the DJ Bible, people.
