Why can't we search 3 letter words?

Yes, I'm just wondering why can't we search topics with letters less than 3 words? There are alot of things you cannot search because of this:
Don Juan
AFC
HB
Okay, not alot that I can think of right now, but these are commonly searched DJ terms that we cannot search for because they are under 3 words.

Because MySQL limits data base queries to 4 characters.

It's not a big deal and you'll live without being able to search for AFC. Get off the board every once in a while.

This is the only vBulletin I've ever been to that can't search 3 characters. Stop making stuff up and pretending to be a big shot.

If you can even tell me what MySQL is I'll be impressed let alone the database query aspects of it. The base query is 4 characters. Although it is possible to rework the database to run on a 3 character queery but the response time would be much greater and frankly it's not worth it.

Cut the mod sass out MF. I know you hate us but you don't have to try and give us crap everytime we post.

Those terms you mentioned are all so commonly used on this site, why would you even want to search for them? Almost every single thread would come up.
