Nothing against kids, but why are ladies upfront about having kids? One of the ladies I was messaging just gave me her number and wants to meet up. Oh, btw, she has 2 kids. Nothing in her profile. Just waists everyone's time. Most post this in their profile. I find it a bit deceitful. She also added, hope that doesn't scare you off.

It's a minefield. Two that I was messaging just dropped that bomb. I just don't want to get involved with that family drama. Rather not play, so I don't have to worry about my frame. I've banged plenty of single Moms and never had any drama other than the occasional vent about something their ex husband didnt do related to the kids. If your goal is to get laid You are taking a lot of easy pickings ofd the table.

Just talked to an OLD dude last night.

His profile said "divorced, no kids". When I asked "why no kids?" His response was

"I actually have 2 kids with my ex wife and one on the way with my ex girlfriend, due at the end of July. I like to keep my family situation private, which is why I dont post that infirmation"

Yes, it's decietful to indicate otherwise in a profile and I FULLY believe it is a red flag in regards to their personality. When we consider the idea of having " personal standards" there are no situations where it is acceptable to not be truthful.

I also agree that he knows his SMV has cratered and doesn't want to scare off potential dates and this is why he lies.

I dont mind sometime with kids but I don't do liars and, personally, I don't want ex GF new baby mamma drama. I respectfully passed when he suggested we get a drink.

Many of the single moms I know wanted kids they get involved with a guy that's "good enough" and the guy wasn't or they get involved with some loser that eventually leaves. Would I get involved with a single mom? nope too much drama and BS. These women are getting 1000-1400 month in child support if they have two kids that if the father of the kids is paying. I had a single mom wanted to be in a relationship with me ya no thanks she venomously hated her ex husband its an ugly mess.

I would say it depends on the age of the women. I often see very pretty women in their late 30s and early 40s who've never been married or have had kids and it makes me question why...it's a red flag to me and based on my last 2 failed relationships with such women the red flags are very valid.

I've only dated women without kids but I'm now looking to actually date those with kids (albeit older, since mine's older too) because as a dad myself I find it difficult to relate to those who haven't had to raise kids yet. So while they initially come across as being cool with me having a kid, they pretty quickly turn sour when they find out they have to share my time with my kid and on top of that they'll try to not only offer unsolicited advice on raising kids but also take offense if you don't agree with their point of view.
