"Blank Mind on Dates? She's Dropping Hints You Keep Missing"

The plates get cleared and the silence lands like a brick. You can feel her waiting. Your brain offers up your commute, your job, the weather — topics that have ended more second dates than bad breath.

Here's what most guys never learn: women hand out free conversational material all night long. Tiny clues about what they actually want to discuss. Catch them and you never run out of things to say — because she's telling you what to say next.

Rule 4 of the "22 Rules" trains your ear to catch every single one.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

her: gives me a dirty look and doesn't even bother to hold my hand back.. (which really pisses me off)

(doesn't say an entire word to me on the way back, i don't bother making convo)
me: when you want to talk to me, you can call me.
her: you too, you can call me when you want to talk to me
me: what?! you completely ignored me. i didn't do anything wrong
her: you could have said something to me, you could have replied after i said the movie was gory after it had finished!
me: whatever, see you later.
not sure which one of you was the bigger drama queen... you got pissed cause she didn't hold your hand?????????

as a result, you didn't get laid, and furthermore let it escalate into a showdown, a test of wills, not good.

next time shrug it off, and bone the dogsh1t out of her, never miss out on an opportunity for a good lay over something so trivial... she didn't hold your hand, lol... and u callin her the drama queen?

I only read the first 2 sentences of your post so let me comment on that:

1. women are emotional creatures.

2. driven by emotions they need highs and lows in their lives. you ever wonder why they love those sad tear jerking movies?

3. If your not giving them highs and lows then they will create drama for you so that they can experience this.

4. This is why it's important to occasionally back away from you woman and not be all up in her mix everyday. Give her the gift of missing you.

Many symps on this board will call their girl many times a day and bug and pester her and be all up in her face and just be total wussies. This get's boring. Boredom is your worse nightmare personified in a females mind.

If she get's bored with you then your life becomes the emotional roller coaster that she needs and craves. Their little minds and bodies are hard wired for this.

I've actually had a female tell me she needed to fight with me everyonce in a while otherwise she would begin to lose interest...and she needed me to put her down in her place then spank her for being a bad girl afterwards...

Yeah the shyt is that deep with women. I'm not advocating spanking your girl...but everynow and then they do need a good wack on those round asses, just to remind them who is in control.

I'm with playersupreme on this one. I don't buy Watertiger's advice on equalling her emotional outbursts too much.

C&F/silence/withdrawal is a more powerful weapon because it makes a woman wonder what the hell is going on inside your head = more drama.

I suspect matching her emotional outbursts just makes you seem like her mum/female friends/female boss etc, and before you know it her IL is plummetting faster than a busted elevator down to the Friendzone basement!

cheers for the replies guys, some interesting responses.

yeah now that i think about it perhaps it was me making too much out of something (e.g. her not holding my hand) at the same time though, i've been told not to take any **** from anyone, but where do i draw the line on what is respectful and what isn't?

one of you said that, because of the way i played out the situation i didn't get laid, but at the same time screwin my gf who's acting like a little ***** doesn't seem that appealing..

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

WaterTiger...you're saying we SHOULD get angry at the BS every now and then?

This site preaches being calm and cool and letting the drama roll off our backs, but what you're saying seems to contradict that. YOu don't consider it a sign of weakness when you're able to "ruffle our feathers?"

I wonder if drama is just a reflection of a mans alphaness. She has to make up drama, just to give you a test and to liven things up the way you liven up her world (C&F, the whole nine). It's all a big game......

True...but how much drama/bullpoo are you going to put up with? If you ignore her drama, she's going to make it worse and worse till she really makes you loose your temper and then you have lost your cool. Isn't it better to "fake" a little drama back at her while you are in total control of yourself, than an hour later and you're screaming like a lunatic?

Women get "dramatic" for three reasons:
A- emotional overload (that I explained earlier)
B- yanking your chain (pissed off at something else and you're close)
C- she's actually mad at something (like she got fired)

The first two reasons can be handled in the same way. If you firmly call her on the bull when it starts, then she understands that you don't put up with it. You've shown her that you have emotions as well, but you keep them controled.

If she's actually mad at something genuine, then you need to be cool, calm and rational.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
