Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

There are always a lot of negative threads on here (I've contributed to the negativity myself) but I just wanted to make a thread for those who are actually enjoying life. You know, those of us who can step back and appreciate what we have.

I've been loving life lately. I don't think it could be better. I got broads pouring in my lap and my endeavors are being accomplished without a hitch. Life is great!

Even without this, life would still be great but it just makes it a little nicer.

Who else feels this way?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Yeah, I'm having a great day and a great life in general. I'm accomplishing stuff every day, and what I once thought was an impossible idea for a career seems easy now, because I know now I can do anything I put my mind to.

So yeah. Life is awesome:)

Well I just got up, it's election day, the weather is supposed to be nice, it's a good day. And to top it off, I'm a little sore from working out yesterday, heck yeah.

It's a great day!

I crossed off three life goals from my list in a single week last week.

1) Travel to Mexico
2) Catch a sal****er fish on my fly rod (needlefish on a chartreuse pattern)
3) Become a member of the thirty pound club (fish, that is)
4) Become a member of the hundred pound club (again, talking about fish)

I guess that's four. I made it my goal to get a hundred pounder after I reached #3 on my list. Went out two days later and hauled in a Yellowfin Tuna the size of my twelve year old nephew.

Yeah, it's a good day to be alive...

Edit: haha! it edited "salt water" b/c I didn't put a space between. This site is ridiculous.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

In hell. I'm Satan's lover.
Delightful. Unless a certain multinational corporation goes bankrupt (not going to happen), I am likely tripling my investment money.

I love life right now. It's all about golf for me and pushing myself.

I'm working harder than ever to become a professional long driver and tour pro.

Push myself in the gym for 5 hours. Run 10 miles. Hit 500 balls. Work on short game 7 hours. Pick up chicks for an hour. Work on a business plan to own my own driving range after I graduate... Sleep 4 hours.

Everyday.

Life is very good.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I'm actually feeling good today. It started on a rough edge, but I read the Who Are You thread in general discussions and it opened my eyes a bit. Then, I went to the library and took out the book The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, started reading that. All I can say is that I feel high on myself. Who needs drugs when you can produce the same disconnection from your mind on your own? :D

I'm feeling pretty good too - A whole week off of school. Just taking it easy and relaxing a bit, it's all good man!

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
