Having been a complete beginner myself only 6 months or so ago what I will say is don't question anything he has written, just learn and APPLY. The routines posted will work for the majority of those in the beginner category and most are a long way off from needing any sort of specific TUT, speed work,

A couple questions that I don't see answers to

-Are raw eggs in the shake?
-Is it okay to use milk with the shake?
-Can cardio be done same day as lifting?
-How long do workouts typically take?
-Can chicken be subbed for red meat since the price/lb is much lower?

I could see why people could struggle with the diet portion as that is pretty limiting for 11 weeks.
