"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I had my favorite girl ask me this recently but I was so content at the time I didn't even have a reaction.

I thought "You're SO attracted to me?? Who needs a reason!?"

In a way I wish she would have told me the reason(s) - God knows I need all the help I can get. But wouldn't my asking have been approval-seeking behavior? Should we ever ask a woman why she's attracted to us?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I admitt that would have confused me as well in terms of reaction, asking means buying her frame and as you said show approval seeking behaviour.

A ****y responce like "cant really tell I have so many qualities" while satisfy the general rules, doesnt sound great to me either.

I guess I would opt for the "ignore and move to other" tactics that I use anytime Im confused or smell sh1t tests from a woman.

I would've said:

"Nah I already know the reasons why" smile; change the subject.

I disagree with the prior posters. Assuming she's not f*cking with you and was going to actually tell you positive things about you, it could only work to your advantage to have her list them off.

Look up "cognitive dissonance." When you have a girl list positive traits about you, she starts to believe them.

They did this in communist "re-education" camps back during the cold war. They'd take prisoners and make them write about why communism was so awesome. After you write a few essays like that -- even if there's a gun to your head forcing you to do it -- you start to believe what you've written.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

One of the few times I fully agree with Z. I would simply say, "Yeah, why?" and let her self-confirm my wonderfulness. The more she verbalizes that stuff, the better.

Remember, we men speak after we have formulated our thoughts. Women, on the other hand, formulate their thoughts by speaking. When she verbalizes how great you are, she is actually convincing herself and putting a period on it.
