"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

ok a chic was into me awhile ago i diddnt respond cause i wasnt physically or mentally attracted to her. she kept asking me out to do stuff and i always rejected. so now she has found a boyfriend which is great for her and me as she wont be bothering me as much. but everytime i talk to her or she messages me and i mesege her back she some how finds a way of mentioning him. do you think she is trying to make me jealous? if she is than it aint gonna work because im not attracted to her in any way possible. was just curious about it and trying to learn abit more about how the female species thinks.

im sure someones had something similiar happen what happened in your situation?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

The fact that your posting about it shows that you're concerned. You're most likely an attention *****.

who cares what she is thinking- so since you posted about it I guess maybe you are feeling some subconscious attraction or something to her now that her value has risen due to her getting a bf.

Almost every guy had that happen to him, I believe.

The girl's fishing for a reaction from you, and she still somehow values your opinion. If and when you react, as in "Why do you keep talking about him all the time?" you're done, because she'll run the old "What, are you jealous? you had your chance blablablah" routine.

Ignore those comments of hers, and try to be genuinely happy for her -- which you seem to be anyways. Long as you don't play her little game you're fine.

Sounds to me like nothing more than an attention *****. Sad.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

lol I've been a **** and invited girls to chill for coffe with their new boyfriends, and they were total ****s, and the girls would start to ****ing freak about me, they'd have their backs turned to the guys and wouldn barely listen to or respond to what they said. I'd feel bad for the guy and start trying to chat him up, suddenly the girl would switch all up onto him, saying she loves him and slathering him with attention...

that's when I stand up and leave...

She'd find me somehow a few days later and start bugging me about how I was jealous of her:crackup: boyfriend

Since I've found it better to use the girls to my advantage and find out who their friends are and chill with them than... it's the only form of amoging I know where I am prequalified as the better of the men, since I knew the girl had chosen me over him.
