You've seemingly got the right attitude bro. Keeping a busy lifestyle, with ladies coming somewhere behind. Because when they go off on their own tangent as they do at times, you don't get too distracted, if at all. You shouldn't chase them, they should be chasing you, that way they feel they've earned you, which works out a lot better in the whole social dynamic.
As you're the guy, if you're interested in a chick, you should generally instigate proceedings, you are starting to chase if you instigate more than a couple of times and not get much in return, whether it's regular dates and/or sex. If you come across her path occasionally after that then be civil, but don't instigate again - she can though as you've more than shown your interest.
Make sure you're instigating regularly as it's a bit of a numbers game too, the more chicks you come across, the more of a chance you have of coming across a decent girl. I take it the chicks that are chasing you aren't that nice and/or you're looking for a relationship? If they were hot or you just wanted sex, you would be finding the time I'm sure.
