"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Been with a girl for almost six months now.
I've lost attraction for her somehow and want to break things off.
I don't want to be an ******* and give that reason bc she's a really nice girl.
She lives an hour away, should I use the distance as a reason? It does have something to do with it as well.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

using the distance as an excuse...seriously? That's not really mature is it?

Just tell her point blank, you think she's great but you want know it's not going to work out between you two and you want to date other people. Just be upright about it.

Of course if your not that brave, just dial back contact and visits down to zero and then when she asks what's going on tell her your moving on.

Bingo. And she'll probably be upset, but will get over it quicker. And if you had a real relationship with her, don't try to keep her on as a plate. Have enough respect for her to cut her loose, let her heal for her own sake. Don't be like all the branch-swinging girls we talk about here.

And another thing that goes without saying, make sure you're doing what you really want to do here.

There is no best way. All options suck equally.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Six months is awhile. Be kind about it...you say she's a nice girl.

Best thing to do is just straight-up tell her your heart isnt in it and you need to move on. Dont do the no contact thing; that's only for casual flings and situations that have gone terribly awry.

Never say "you are a nice girl". How awful.

Tell her that you do not want to be in a committed relationship with her, that you respect her too much to "move on" without letting her know.

But don't tell her she is "a nice girl". That is terrible!

Dear Tryst,
She does seem a very nice Girl, that makes it harder,I usually let them think they are off loading me,makes it easier....To give an excuse like distance,No,no,no....How would you feel if she tosses her job in and moves to your town?A woman in love might do that you know,If you don't want to tell her that you are seeing someone else, then come straight out with it,over coffee face to face then leave....cut all contact after that....All contact.

Distance is a plausible reason.

Man up. Tell her you're going to be very honest with how you're feeling lately.
Don't be afraid to unveil the truth. She will respect and appreciate you for it, even after she gets dumped.

Nothing lasts forever.
